Which Cooking Are You?
So, I ran out of my balsamic vinegar that I bought in Reggio. It was a nice 8 year. Any recommendations for something I can get here in the US that would be nice, but not insanely expensive?

Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
Anyone happen to know of someone wanting to get rid of a Tom Bihn ID bag for a decent price? I've watched a few on Ebay but haven't pulled the trigger. I think I'm going to try it out at this point though, and just looking to save some money at this point from buying new

Ye Macce Threade
Is there an easy way (perhaps through the top toolbar, or iTunes) to switch what audio output device is being used (i.e. USB to Audio Output jack)? I realize I can go through system preferences->sound->output but that's rather annoying for something that I want others to be able to do easily.

What are you listening to Part the Third
Nice! If you get more info I'd be curious what they are planning.

Made it to Roanoke, VA. Nice time on the Blue Ridge Parkway!

And now what did you do TODAY?
Left one of the most difficult work confrontations I've ever had to hop in the car and drive to NJ over the next 7 days to work in Princeton for 3 months with some of the coolest smartest people I have met in my field. Sweet!

KG Balanced Dynahi build discussion thread
what's the voltage you're testing them at? iirc, the datasheet numbers assume 10V. And, in case you are curious... "rebadged" == "fake... avoid"

Now for something different...
Kevin, if you do model it, I'd be curious about the distortion and it's relative harmonic magnitudes.

Now for something different...
i think this is a poor requirement for the pleb-amp, but that's just me.

Now for something different...
I'd use a mosfet CCS, like the BHSE uses. If you want to do some R&D, then an opto-coupler biased CCS would be my choice... or, add another tube and do a pentode CCS.

Audio Consulting battery powered MIPA Stax Amplifier
I like Audio Consulting stuff in general. They do know how to make transformers.

Whisk[e]y-Case
Shelly, I've heard the same rumor. However, I have access to a few bottles, and could probably make a deal for you on one. However, in my opinion, I prefer the SpringBank CV.

Part Sourcing Assistance/Advice Thread
Ok, I have figured out what I need. Anyone have a recommendation for a flush mount pin socket? Also, called a miniature spring socket? Anyone used these before?

Blue Hawaii Special Edition
Hard to say really. How will you be using the amps? What will be connected to them exactly?

If you had to downgrade your entire rig to $500 ...
I figured Dinny would put the $500 towards potential credit card interest and just start the DACes revolving door on its merry way.

Now for something different...
Frank, I am curious if you would consider the argument that sources which offer balanced output, even if this output isn't the one used, sound better on average than their single-ended only counterparts?
