  6. Buy speakers. Yes, they are better than headphones.
  7. Anyone looking for hotels try and find something in Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto or even Georgetown. This is still close enough to me (in decreasing preference) and yes they will fill up... I have 5 bedrooms and three living areas and can easily accommodate MOA sized crowds.
  8. I need to get on the ball huh. I still plan to have a place for folks to stay and provide transportation. I'll even try and plan a NYC recruitment event in the upcoming weeks
  9. Mouser agrees with you and marks them as NRND http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Toshiba/2SK170BLF/?qs=xiNPFU0yZ8%2fdgDypNarXsxXfvvVlxESHRZQuMtxXTf8%3d
  10. nice! Though, Tom Bihn for life yo!
  11. Just make a TH pattern for the sot223 I'd bet it would work, just stand the part up vertical. The Vishay SMD SMM resistor line looks like what Stax uses. Anyways to each his own, seems like reasonable decisions...
  12. What about STN9260 or 2SA1807, both are at Mouser.
  13. I see what you did there Justin... Smart guy you are
  14. Wow, $3.50 is insane. I'd sell 100 in original packaging for that
  15. Do you already have an amp or use for an amp? If you are buying it just for this, I'd say move on towards a dedicated amp.
  16. sweet, I did the same today. I have a contact that I could put you in touch with for a security job in the Reston, VA area. It's with EMC/RSA.
  17. geez, don't run out of oxygen up there! Before you know it will be like Waterworld and you'll be fighting off kids trying to steal some oxygen
  18. I'm curious as well, I'd like to take a long weekend this weekend and drive around a bit, perhaps to Maine, VT, etc.
  19. Chris, do you use R much? My "supercomputer" has 1TB of memory which is kinda fun to play with.
  20. http://www.endino.com/graphs/index.html Interesting and sorta surprising.
  21. This is on the tail end of my time up here. If something changes, I'd be in. But as it stands now, I'll be heading back to Texas this week.
  22. wow, very cool Al!
  23. Anyone tried these?
