  1. The F6 uses an inner stage transformer. Probably not what you want
  2. I have played with the circuit. Are you looking for something for the stats? If so I would recommend the Aleph J-X.
  3. So, getting on the ball here. Questions: What dates are the people wanting to hit the race interested in? I'd use this to put forth dates to the group. Once we have this nailed down, I figured accommodations are next. I see the following categories of attendance and accommodations - Interested in a place to sleep, must have private room that sleeps X (where if X > 2 mad props), willing to pay a few bucks for such an arrangement - Above, but not willing to pay or are flexible on private part - Interested in a floor/couch/public area and have a few bucks handy to throw in the pot - Above, but not willing to pay - Wanting third-party accommodations I'd say any money raised would go to "scholarships" to increase attendance, or whatever the group decides. So, dates! then I'll go from there.
  4. Arch is cool good recommendation
  5. Waiting to get on the train to head back to Princeton... I think the poker thing worked out well in the end. I felt like I was conflicted about hands going up against the boss and didn't really care if I lost them and ended up winning all the big ones
  6. won a few grand off a potential future employer playing poker. not sure how to play that one, sorta risky, but hey.
  7. unlikely. why? guess who owns this company and what they happen to manufacture. http://www.shuguangelec.com
  8. Stax uses reed relays? I'm surprised. I certainly would not attempt this.
  9. woah Tyll, you are the man!
  10. https://twitter.com/#!/NeedADebitCard
  11. trust your instinct, it's correct.
  12. Buy speakers. Yes, they are better than headphones.
  13. Anyone looking for hotels try and find something in Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto or even Georgetown. This is still close enough to me (in decreasing preference) and yes they will fill up... I have 5 bedrooms and three living areas and can easily accommodate MOA sized crowds.
  14. I need to get on the ball huh. I still plan to have a place for folks to stay and provide transportation. I'll even try and plan a NYC recruitment event in the upcoming weeks
  15. Mouser agrees with you and marks them as NRND http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Toshiba/2SK170BLF/?qs=xiNPFU0yZ8%2fdgDypNarXsxXfvvVlxESHRZQuMtxXTf8%3d
  16. nice! Though, Tom Bihn for life yo!
  17. Just make a TH pattern for the sot223 I'd bet it would work, just stand the part up vertical. The Vishay SMD SMM resistor line looks like what Stax uses. Anyways to each his own, seems like reasonable decisions...
  18. What about STN9260 or 2SA1807, both are at Mouser.
  19. I see what you did there Justin... Smart guy you are
  20. Wow, $3.50 is insane. I'd sell 100 in original packaging for that
  21. Do you already have an amp or use for an amp? If you are buying it just for this, I'd say move on towards a dedicated amp.
  22. sweet, I did the same today. I have a contact that I could put you in touch with for a security job in the Reston, VA area. It's with EMC/RSA.
  23. geez, don't run out of oxygen up there! Before you know it will be like Waterworld and you'll be fighting off kids trying to steal some oxygen
  24. I'm curious as well, I'd like to take a long weekend this weekend and drive around a bit, perhaps to Maine, VT, etc.
