Happy birthday! (party favour noise)

Yeah, the radio report of his death included sounds of cheering and partying, I don't think there's too many that love him. The closest I heard was from a Cuban refugee -- "I miss my country, but..." ... you get the idea, homesick for the culture, but not for the leader. But -- in light of recent discoveries on my part that journalism is no longer neutral on subjects -- maybe it was just how the media wanted to present it.

Hey, Aardvark, someone said I could just download the font and do that, myself, to my heart's content -- do you know which font? Me: Blue Öyster Cult playlist I put together on Tidal.

The what now ? Don't really care for a newb trying to suggest 'manners' like you know us when you haven't even seen us at our worst . Just settle in and read for a while , I'm pretty sure all forums would appreciate that . Is head-fi down again ?

No, definitely don't read. We try to be good about spoilers in the general "what are you watching" and "last movie you saw" threads, but in the individual show threads like Game of Thrones and this one, all bets are off. Don't even read the previews. In fact, don't even read the rest of this post until you've caught up. I'm going to stop doing the individual tracks, they can be found here, fairly accurately, and fairly soon after the show airs. One of the things I love about the show is the characters that give guidance -- what's that called in video games? It's all very game like -- tight, concise clues or instructions, the little girl, Lawrence/El Lazlo, it's all over the place. Even Delores does it almost reticently once or twice. And when Old Bill mentions the lady with the white shoes, that just sounds like a retired narrative. Also, what the hell, I just watched a piece that said Trace Decay confirmed a popular fan theory that there are multiple timelines? I understand it's a theory, but I don't see how it's been confirmed just because Delores has gone a little bonkers. And William is the Man In Black? I don't see it.

No, not us, none of us would be stupid enough to buy one.

He'll go far with those skills, too -- win win!

Well, no, if he has money, there's nothing wrong with basing it on others' opinions. Just follow the right people! I mean, that's basically the entire business model of Absolute Sound and Stereophile. I have often espoused the value of buying "above your station" so that you don't have to worry about whether it's better or not, just for the placebo peace of mind.

Are you saying there is some sort of connection between its price and its quality ? That's a common misconception .

Alright, I get that. It's a great song. Somewhere between Alestorm and Oingo Boingo. But what is this with all the "Lazytown's 'We're Number One' but with..." videos? -
I watched episode 3, "The Stray", in which there is a long conversation between Ford and Bernard. I noticed every time Ford mentioned the hosts, Bernard kind of clammed up, and I started thinking maybe Bernard wasn't hearing that part of the conversation. But then, later in the conversation, I was reminded that Bernard is fully aware of the hosts, since THAT'S HIS JOB, but I still wonder if they guided me through this thought process on purpose, knowing what I know now.

Lollers. Yeah, that's pretty much what my days are like. Trying to fix bugs with outdated weapons. I'm the guy who gets overrun with bugs. All of 2 seconds of screen time. -
OMG, palm trees. I <3 this so much.

Do you have any cats?

I was thinking you could wrap it around the LX minis. Yeah, that'll make it better.
-
Thank you! I was still working on working that in.

There was one guy on here whose room they totally overwhelmed, because they barely fit. No cloth colour choice in the world was going to make that acceptable to anyone but a bachelor. You could paint the LX minis and they could disappear, being low profile.
