  1. Fine by me! Although it's probably too complicated for a simple ol' bachelor like me to follow. Indeed, and not just a flash in the pan! (fnar fnar)
  2. Indeed.
  3. Luck, but you don't need it, you'll be fine! Cheers and bon voyage.
  4. Lollers. "Just the tip?"
  5. Teriyaki beef tips -- I cut the cooking times in half (because all of mine were coming out well done with a burnt crust since that first one a couple weeks ago), and it came out perfect.

  9. Arcams aren't that bad, are they? The old FMJ...whatever...I forget the nomenclature, was in at least one British magazine's "best of sources" list. But this was a good 10 years back, so what do I know.
  10. Free pastries at work! I probably shouldn't do so many carbs, but it's free, so I'll take it...
  11. Happy birthday, Todd! (party favour noise)
  12. "..and amp...", neh?

There's a scene after the credits of the last episode! Don't miss it!
  16. I finally finished book four of Peter V. Brett's Demon Cycle, posted about it on Facebook, and just the other day, Peter V. Brett himself liked my post. (fanboy swoon) Now started more M.R. Forbes on Kindle Unlimited (Balance already finished, 10% into Betrayal) and The Way of Kings.
  17. Happy birthday, Tom! (party favour noise)

And I'm not reacting because I'm just spent and don't know what to say, so not saying anything. But I find these memes entertaining, so will keep posting them. And elsewhere, someone dubbed Armistice 'Istice'.
  19. The only reason I knew of them is they were local and I knew one of the members of the band. No need to be ashamed. Glad you like them.
  20. Nine Inch Nails, Broken, although not purely metal (metal/industrial crossover), has some damn fine production. My personal favourite is Oracle Moon by Garden of Shadows. Whoever produced that album understood the concept of overhead and gain staging, because one can really hear deeply into the mix. I've been listening to Underworld's Dubnobasswithmyheadman Super Deluxe Edition on and off all day. This was such a departure from their previous albums when it came out, that it still stands out as my favourite, by a long shot.

  23. Condolences to you, too. Yeah, that'd be a tough one. Not my sister, but my heart goes out to the people in Oakland affected by this: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2016/12/03/least-9-dead-oakland-warehouse-party-fire/94881696/
