They're KEF Blades, I think those are uni-q drivers (coaxial). I like the mixed media -- I would think things like burlap and canvas would have different flavors of sound absorption. Very cool idea.

Okay, you're right, I had a different understanding of "planned obsolescence" for decades. I blame my father. (I've already explained my understanding, so I won't repeat it.)

Pretty cool idea -- uses T-shirts to decorate DIY bass traps a la Ethan Winer, and uses artwork to lightly diffuse behind the speakers. I think the latter might be trapping as well.

Can they repair older headphones? If yes, then that's not obsolescence.

Fuck yeah. The comraderie between Linden and Holder is just...unparalleled. I fucking love their chemistry. It's the ultimate platonic relationship. They're both damaged and yet raised by the other. And the history of previously having been partners and now...not...and yet they still know how to work together is just fucking...you can't do that in any season one or two of any series. It has to be at least season 3. Fucking brutal emotionally, though, man. Fucking brutal. Every. Single. Fucking. Episode. Is just a roller coaster ride.

The K1000s are great ear speakers, but I wouldn't say they're good for binaural recordings -- quite the opposite -- they're good for speaker-like imaging,
