Star Trek: Axanar This looks awesome, and I'm not even a trekkie (although I will admit to being a fan). Just some fine storytelling with some fine casting. (Just in case you missed it over in Ric's Trailers thread.) And the idea to make the intro video entirely a prequel is choice.

I don't know if I'd ever attempt anything that claimed "inspired by ... LS3/5a" in anything other than the nearfield, even if it does have a port on the back (and coaxial drivers).

Thanks. Wouldn't that be a problem (in as much as it would be a problem) with every such vacuum sealer, or are some of them better about dealing with accidentally-sucked-up liquid? I see that some of the more expensive models have a moist/dry setting, is that what that's for? Never mind, I'll do some research (wanders off to gtfm)...

Maryland Deathfest -- I only know a couple of th...HOLY SHIT, Neurosis? Napalm Death? (I didn't realize they were still active, but apparently they never really stopped...perhaps I just lost interest after Mick Harris left.) I might have to go to...er...no way I can go to all four days (I'd get moshed to death)...I just hope some of the bands that I'm interested in seeing (Arcturus(!!!), Obituary, Melt Banana, Napalm Death, Neurosis) are playing on the same days...any others in that list that others can recommend? Sometimes the names all begin to look the same to me. (Although "Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation " is pretty epic and "Chainsaw to the Face" is pretty fantastic.)

So if one were to use the same driver (or drivers with the same parameters) and same crossovers, but oval-shaped enclosures ("baffle-less") with the same volumes, that might work better?

Hurray, they slept together! Came across a dark furry blob last night that was too big to be either one of them individually, upon closer inspection, they were spooning. They still tussle, but I think I can stop worrying that one of them is going to "accidentally" kill the other. Also, Skye is up to 9 lbs., so Bobby is no longer 2ce her size (at 16 lbs.).

Are you talking small monitors or do you include the larger ones like the Spendor BC3/SP100? Serious question, I never understood what reviews meant by "baffle coloration", I may be deaf immune to it like so many other things.
