I've never bothered to get applecare. It's like every other extended warranty. If it paid off, they wouldn't offer it. Apple offers really good deals on depot repairs for out of warranty problems.

Do you believe that those checks will prevent criminals from getting guns? Do you believe that those checks would have prevented what happened in CT? I personally draw the line at "if the gov't can have it, the people should be able to have it", as that was the standard when the constitution was written, because it was for the people to regulate the militia. Just for giggles, look up how many legally owned machine guns have been used in crimes.

AR15s are pretty safe as guns go. The safety works well, it's easy to handle it without being near the trigger, and it's easy to tell if it's loaded or not. The very things you'd want in a battle rifle, because recruits are idiots. They're just scary looking because they're black.

Pet peeve. The AR15 is not uber-powerful. It's the US battle rifle because it's light, easy to shoot, and reliable. It's not powerful enough to use deer hunting in most states, however.
