  1. Apple crisp now!
  2. Went apple picking. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. For the last week or so I've hard serious trouble trying to reply to anything using the iPad. Basically I click the reply box, it opens but doesn't give me a cursor. So I click again and instead of giving me a cursor it takes me to some Invision Software page.
  4. 9.0.1 got pushed to my phone this AM.
  5. True enough. There's definitely a line where I will either commit to watching more or moving on.
  6. I don't disagree with that assessment, but I try not to judge shows on the first episode that heavily. If it doesn't get better I won't be sticking with it just for the tattoos.
  7. Is it me or do the colors look more natural on the 6S vs S+? In may of those shots, to these eyes and on these monitors, the S+ images look a little greyed out or less saturated.
  8. I watched the first 15 minutes or so of the Muppets and found it disappointingly unfunny.
  9. Happy Birthday Jim!
  10. There's a limit, I don't know exactly what it is. It was brought up in a panel discussion I was listening to.
  11. While I generally agree with Jim I think that what we may see are a new set of Apps that allow for the Pro to be more of a laptop/PC replacement than the current iPad already is and the Pro already appears like it might be. But the best argument I've heard against this yet is that the App store is actually the problem. Apps are capped at $9.99 and some of the developers who want to make better apps for the Pro need to be allowed to charge more.
  12. I've had a few issues with the iPhone since updating. Last night the screen decided that it no longer wanted to recognize touch requiring a hard reboot and I've had more app crashes and issues in the last two days than I had in the previous month. Here's to hoping that it's a short-lived condition. Bummer about the wife's iPad, Stretch. I keep telling myself that I need to backup both the iPad and the iPhone in the near future but I never quite get there...
  13. Started, and will finish, watching Blindspot last night. Looks like it has potential but the male lead (from HBO's Strike Back) never struck me as a particularly great actor. And yes, I'm also looking forward to the next season of Gotham.
  14. It's one take, from one very distinct perspective. At least that's what I came away with after viewing most, but not all, of it.
  15. Fought with the GTI'S brakes for two hours. The fronts are new now.
  16. Lily and Andrew say, "Done!"
  17. ^^ I have always enjoyed your logic.
  18. Indeed!
  19. Thanks for the feedback, Chris, I'll do just that.
  20. FYI - decent out of Crawford achieved around 50mph.
  21. Thanks Gene.
  22. Wow and yes, I'll definitely take you up on that (switching to PM). FYI - it was my 500 that I had the issue with. And yes Marshall I'm running a straight post. I've been fit for the bike so in theory position is correct but given the knee pain I was experiencing it may need some tweaking. Basically the back of my knee, at what I would consider the lower hamstring, was killing me by mile 50 in a way that felt very much like cramping. Weird part was that I was well hydrated (pissed twice on the ride) and tried to do everything within my power to stay on top of that throughout the ride. I have nearly zero issues riding ~30 miles, just when I stretch it out longer. I don't think that the seating position/knee issue contributed to the overall ass pain that I was experiencing but I can't rule it out. What may have contributed, now that I think about it, was the 5 or so miles of really rough pavement in the first 20 miles. That certainly didn't help, I know that much. Thankfully the pain didn't last and I wasn't really sore the next day or beyond.
  23. The middle 50 or so sucked hard. I simply hadn't trained enough (under 1k total with nothing over 35) and for reasons I can't explain I've never been so uncomfortable in the saddle. But the last 25 were great, fueled by a strong desire to get off the effing bike and finally finding a pace line that could crank along at 20+. So, lesson learned, train properly or prepare to suffer. Overall we managed a sub 6hr time with a moving average of 16.5mph. Not bad given the climbing. oh, and my garmin died at mile 87.5 which was supremely annoying. I'll have to watch that and see if it becomes a trend.
  24. Happy birthday!
