  1. RIP Joe, condolences Wayne. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. ^^ This. I'm dying to get out on the MTB but weekends keep getting packed full of other things. I think Monday's holiday might finally provide opportunity.
  3. That looks awesome, Al.
  4. Some really (to me at least) interesting announcements from M$ this week. http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us/devices/surface-book http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us/devices/surface-pro-4

    Hell. Yes.
  6. Thanks. It's turning out nicely, I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The grill is heating up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I'm with Al on this. There is not aspect of crowd funding here, just a "new" way to drive initial sales and make the customer feel special. What I do find truly shocking is the level of interest generated given the price. 10 people in a day plunked down ~$3k/ea for an amp that basically no one has ever heard. And full at the name.
  9. Looks good, Jeff. Me - taking the GTI in this week to have the water pump issue sorted and am thinking that I should ask for an extended test drive in the '12 Golf R that they have on the lot.
  10. Fall is upon us. Time for biscotti of the coconut and chocolate chip variety. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Honestly, and maybe you're already planning to do this, but a backpack won't be enough. We rented a Bob for the days we were there and brought a small soft cooler as well. It's a lot of walking and the Bob can do two kids in a pinch, if they tolerate it. Otherwise I'd shoot for something in the 2k cu-in range. I bought my wife a nice Mountain Hardware pack but there are lots that would fit the bill and probably be less expensive.
  12. Happy Birthday!
  13. Happy birthday, Wayne!
  14. Apple crisp now!
  15. Went apple picking. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. For the last week or so I've hard serious trouble trying to reply to anything using the iPad. Basically I click the reply box, it opens but doesn't give me a cursor. So I click again and instead of giving me a cursor it takes me to some Invision Software page.
  17. 9.0.1 got pushed to my phone this AM.
  18. True enough. There's definitely a line where I will either commit to watching more or moving on.
  19. I don't disagree with that assessment, but I try not to judge shows on the first episode that heavily. If it doesn't get better I won't be sticking with it just for the tattoos.
  20. Is it me or do the colors look more natural on the 6S vs S+? In may of those shots, to these eyes and on these monitors, the S+ images look a little greyed out or less saturated.
  21. I watched the first 15 minutes or so of the Muppets and found it disappointingly unfunny.
  22. Happy Birthday Jim!
  23. There's a limit, I don't know exactly what it is. It was brought up in a panel discussion I was listening to.
  24. While I generally agree with Jim I think that what we may see are a new set of Apps that allow for the Pro to be more of a laptop/PC replacement than the current iPad already is and the Pro already appears like it might be. But the best argument I've heard against this yet is that the App store is actually the problem. Apps are capped at $9.99 and some of the developers who want to make better apps for the Pro need to be allowed to charge more.
  25. I've had a few issues with the iPhone since updating. Last night the screen decided that it no longer wanted to recognize touch requiring a hard reboot and I've had more app crashes and issues in the last two days than I had in the previous month. Here's to hoping that it's a short-lived condition. Bummer about the wife's iPad, Stretch. I keep telling myself that I need to backup both the iPad and the iPhone in the near future but I never quite get there...
