  1. Great book--ending typical for Stephenson.
  2. QFT. Read that a couple weeks ago (ebook on my iphone). As mentioned in other thread, I have all seven Dark Tower books on my iPhone's eReader. Currently in middle of second book.
  3. Is there a FAA regulation? <rub-eyes/> Oh. Never mind...
  4. Oliver O Oliver maybe... It occurs to me that Ray must have subliminally inspired post-it notes.
  5. I'll make the pizza and beer runs! And, I'll pry open my wallet.

Thanks Monkey. Just ordered a APC AV H15.
  9. Especially Canadian fish.
  10. Ayre does this too--they write their own firmware for it.
  11. And would probably accommodate her no problem.
  12. Yep--and all seven are on my iphone.
  13. ...hung out at Octane for three hours getting wired on good coffee, listening to portable rig, and reading (via my iPhone's eReader) S. King's The Gunslinger (for the first time--how did I ever miss this?). Then I continued my quest at Harry's (aka Whole Foods) figuring out how to eat.
  14. You, don't talk so much...
  15. ^^^ Nope. A certain former Drill Instructor with a finely-honed sense of sardonic cruelty is responsible. And, I like the bitch-weasel title. (Thanks Nate!) It's bitch weasel, you little fuck!

Nope. Recovery is where you improve. That's when the micro-tears in your muscle heal. The burning is caused by lactic acid. Recovery is very important. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/16/health/nutrition/16run.html
  17. Dom, Happy Birthday. You're one of the good guys. -m
  18. See what happens? And I don't even **like** perennial dick!
  19. What's sad is I know you really mean that Ryan. Not to mention my blood-sugar was normal and I slept normally...
  20. Snack: medium apple with a bit of Tabasco and 7 raw cashews.
  21. ^^^ QFT That's what got me back into it.

Yea. I know what you mean. I feel that way about 99.9999% of retail jobs. Some of y'all know, back in '86, I went through exactly what the CC employees are going through right now (at Pacific Stereo in Chicago area). At that time I swore I'd never work another retail job--and luckily I have not had to break that oath. Tell them to move! I live almost across the street from Fry's in Alpharetta (technically Milton I guess) and agree with what Ryan says. But sometimes they have some worthwhile specials and it's convenient for getting emergency shrink-wrap. The only time they've really pissed me off is when they tried to wiggle-out of a price-match from Best Buy. They failed. Idiot customer service kid: "I'm just doing my job." -m
