  1. Caprese salad followed by grilled marinated NY Strip and zucchini
  2. My other favorite team won today too! Nice first game for the Hawks. Seven wins in a row at home this playoff season. Pretty well dominant on home ice.
  3. Jowl bacon?! Too tasty to stop for a pic apparently.
  4. Glad you got out to see a stage, Greg!
  5. Second period looked like it might get ugly but turned awesome!
  6. Nice first period Rangers!
  7. Apple certainly didn't, but the plaintiffs are represented by this place: http://www.katriellaw.com/ Be warned that you may experience a seizure from the flashing lights and animations on the site.
  8. This is a biggie! Have a great 60th Chris Cheers!
  9. I don't really care what Sir Jive says when trying to look good for his biographers, but that is the party line at trial they sold to the jury.
  10. Isn't that the same team?
  11. you're quite the good luck charm, eh?
  12. Adding to the tedium, I just have to make a couple of points in response to that bogus timeline. First of all, that timeline is wrong because placing the Samsung F700 in December 2007 is a lie. The F700 was designed by Samsung in August 2006 before the iPhone was made public; Samsung got a Korean design patent for F700 that was filed in December 2006 before ANY of the iPhone patents were filed; the F700 was announced and shown at the Barcelona consumer electronics fair in February 2007, which was a month after the iPhone was announced; and it was first released in August 2007 while the iPhone was first released on June 29, 2007. The large rectangular screens that became available first with resistive touch technology and then with capacitive touch technology dictated that smartphones were going to be rectangular for the most part. Use by humans and storage in pockets dictates rounded outside corners for the most part because they are more ergonomic and approachable. I do not deny that Apple had an impact on how mobile phones looked, but there were rounded rectangle phones at Samsung and elsewhere for years prior to the iPhone. So, it is not correct to say they caused a drastic change -- function dictated the form before and since -- and the scope they claim for their patents is ludicrous. 2004 2005 2006 2007
  13. Mongo head, big like bull.
  14. That is utter bullshit fanboi. I'll post some pre-iPhone shit tomorrow.
  15. Hey Pak, hope you're well. The Freddie was steamed from my iphone to the new Sola speaker so MM did not play a part. The repeat titles annoyed me but I signed up for the 33rpm subscription anyway. The 33rpms sound fantastic to me.
  16. Wicked bad showing by the Broons. Didn't deserve to win based on the last two games with one goal scored between them. Oh well, I will wish for Rangers vs Hawks as well and can be happy knowing some of my friends will be happy either way.
  17. The three tube products you mention Sreamwhisper are poster children of tube coloration, bloat and distortion. The bhse is not anything like those creatures. It is not colored, almost to a fault. I prefer it with the Mullard xf2 tube to take soften the edges slightly and it still could not be called colored at that point. Neutral is the Headamp byword. Believe it.
  18. Wake up Bruins!
  19. "Jap retail"? You left a couple of letters off, Hungarian Archie Bunker.
  20. RIP Giger, but damn, that really sucks about Bendjelloul dying at 36. That movie and the entire story he brought to the world are amazing. 36 is way too young to go. RIP Malik
  21. Congrat to the Hawks and Rangers. I was at a lousy baseball game instead of watching but what the heck.
  22. GUI has nothing to do with this comparison. Apple's rounded rectangle design patents for the hardware look like these (and dotted lines like some of the buttons, speaker slots and screens do not count/are not claimed as part of the design):
