Maybe I am just uninformed -- well, I am but you know what I mean -- but other than being meticulous like you are and having the soldering and other related skills that you possess, what is different about this project compared to your current 'stat effort or many other high-end projects you have completed successfully?

Same here, but it still may. Claire has the CDs now (instrumental disc in the deluxe set) so I can play it on the home system rather than just Rhapsody at work.

I believe the mono box is still limited, but just not as limited and not numbered as some places thought it would be (Acoustic Sounds, for example).

That's how they were recorded and will sound the way they are supposed to instead of the false stereo versions made from the original monos.

I think Beyers suck, but I said it first on Head-Fi. These look like a huge pile of suck, and for $1300 and a rip-off ring radiator design I think one of these will be required for the third place German headphone company:
