  3. To clarify it, you can add "Squeezebox 3" to the In list for Mayberry Family Speaker Rig or whatever it's called.
  4. That is kind of you to note, Tyler. I certainly don't amass stuff to say I have it. I use this stuff daily and did the desktop rig upgrade because I listen more in my office than I typically can at home. Thank you sir. "Duh, it's wireless" is an awesome response. However, I have two SB3s and only one Sigma. Wanted the better setup in Mayberry.
  5. Alright, alright. I didn't list everything I did in part because I don't remember it and in part because it is obscene. I also couldn't remember dates and the Beta seemed like last year but Mike is right. Nate is also right, so I guess I have to try to finish up. It is confusing even for me and I did it all but here is the 2008 purchase/sale/shifting that I did. If an In or Out says "moved" then it was something I shifted from one rig to another. Otherwise In means purchsed in 2008 and Out means sold or up for sale in 2008. 6. That's funny, just this morning I was putting away booze from a party (what little was left ) and was looking at my Old Taylor that was bottled in 1933, the last year of Prohibition in the US. The tax stamp says it was Made in 1916, which was during World War I, although the US wasn't in it yet. It was clearly bottled during Prohibition because the label identifies the bottler as The American Medicinal Spirits Company, and there are labels all over it indicating it is for medicinal use only. A warning says that prohibited uses could cause severe penalties to the company [and dry up the only source of booze available]. There is even a direction to affix a prescription sticker through the opening on the box. My favorite, though, is the slogan: "Unexcelled for Medicinal Use"! My grandfather kept this bottle in the original box for 60+ years for some reason. I also have his mini liquor bottle collection and many of those are from Prohibition too. There are some that were Navy spirits in little medicine boxes. Good times. Here are a few iMac photos: And here is an Rx label for hooch, awaiting signature by Dr. Feelgood: Sorry for the interruption to the consumer consumption thread. Carry on.

  8. Deepak has made some interesting choices today as well.
  9. Hey, nice selections Dan! I was just about to do the same on the big rig.
  10. Wow, nice finish to a crappy day! You are becoming a god of DIY, dood.

  12. Toot! I saw that Sherwood, and figured that was a basis for calling Fail on him.
  13. I actually said happy birthday to you because you were logged in to chat but you did not respond. You lose.
  14. GREAT PRODUCT STILL AVAILABLE! No shit. As soon as he used the word "Fadel" I knew it had to be that same douche (to use a French word so he can understand it) even though I didn't remember his user name. Maybe he should put this under his gear: * *Credit to The Onion, greatest of all newspapers.
  15. You're in! We have no standards so your experience is perfectly acceptable. We debated whether the name should be Bay Area Analog Association, but figured the sheep jokes would get old quickly. Plus, JP does a mean Rain Man impression and it helps to pass the time through the tedium of needle-dropping.
  16. Fucking finally! Hoffman played Moondance at the 2007 HeadFest and it was extraordinary even among the amazing cuts he played. I cannot believe it has taken them this long but it is worth every penny, including buying a whole turntable rig!

  18. Worked from home. Founded Rain Man Records with JP#s. Definitely needledrop'd 8 records. Went to my son's school for a pot luck holiday lunch and presentation of Native American reports.
  19. Cool. JP#s and I saw Susan Tedeschi earlier this year with Derek Trucks. If they make it your way you should definitely see them.
