Why does this stupid track rock so hard? I have it stuck in my head.

I guess it is Joe Cocker's backing group laying down the rhythm. Might have to find more of their stuff.

I know people love to dunk on Andrew Lloyd Webber but damn the man has composed some catchy tunes.

    ^^ I like their new album Blue Rev, and I have their debut as well.  My son saw them (for the second time) about a week ago in Boston.  He said they put on a great show.

    It still cracks me up that a former AMERICAN IDOL finalist-- and a gorgeous one at that -- someone you would think would totally embrace all that is popular -- would so fully immerse herself into the world of prog. 

    But GODDAMN, do they make great music.  I am so excited for the forthcoming album.

    The man can certainly write a very catchy song. Which is presumably why he is doing so for Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Lorde. (Edit: Also St. Vincent, Florence and the Machine and the 1975. Huh, thanks Wikipedia.)
