December 30, 201312 yr Fois gras on toasts with some vin rouge. Our Parisian friends brought four large cans of goose fois au torchon (encased in fat and wrapped in a towel). Amazing stuff, and even better with champagne but the red wine was open and handy.

January 1, 201412 yr Hash and Bloody Mary's for breakfast. The hash is a Giada DeLaurentiis recipe we modified slightly. Bacon, potatoes, salami, bell pepper and spinach are the main components. And Debbie enjoyed some seafood with her beverage. Happy New Year HC!
