Indeed!

Two fairies in one house created a little confusion though.

Those look fantastic, sorry I missed them.

I'm back in Houston and after spending the weekend in a meat coma, I decided that I needed some greens.

Went completely different for Thanksgiving for myself and a friend this year.

Sous Vide T-bones finished off on a 600 degree grill with mushrooms and oven baked sweet potatoes w/ shallots, bacon, fennel pollen, garlic and thyme. With a little dessert of what i call Cake Soup: angel food cake, rasberry sorbet, rasberries, blueberries and whip cream and a blueberry pie.

Had to have Diet Dr. Pepper to start as the wine was still too cold as i forgot to take it out of the fridge.

Now i need to take my second trip to the gym today.

Looks delicious Jeff. Who needs turkey if you've got t-bone?!

Tim and I often made steak for Thanksgiving dinner... much better than turkey.

Beautiful. I did get to smoke one yet this year. Thinking about picking up a small bird tomorrow for cheap.

Looks delicious Mike!

Had an all vegetarian thanksgiving at a friend's house. It was fantastic.

What was on the menu?  We have good friends who are vegetarian, so I'm always looking for inspiration!

Nothing super fancy but everything was really good:

Butternut squash souffle, corn bread stuffing, mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, tamales, slaw with snap peas and some other things, roasted brussel sprouts, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, baked brie, rolls, tart, pie...
