April 3, 20251 yr As an enormous fan of Danny Elfman, I had to watch this through to the end: https://www.facebook.com/reel/483250727742271 I can hear it! The 60's / 70's retro stylings, especially in the orchestral version in the reel, it really brings it out.
April 8, 20251 yr I do like me some space documentaries. I was at Vandenburg, CA during this period as an Air Force brat. I followed the MMU progress closely at the time.
April 13, 20251 yr Going Full Coachella for a little bit. Just unmute the one that interests me at the time.
April 23, 20251 yr This is good. It is about computer components, but the same factors that affect that industry affect a lot of industries. People are going to flip when prices of consumer goods start going up.

I know people who've put it on at 1.5x or 2x, but there's a point where a company shows a spreadsheet of their actual numbers and how the tariffs affect their product. Spoiler alert: on a product with a 5$ margin that's MSRP is 130$, it's costing them over 90$ for each one that's sold.
May 8, 20251 yr Pope Leo is from Chicago you say? New Yorkers might have something to say about that.
June 6, 20251 yr Yeah Yeah another Rick Video - but I had never heard the isolated tracks before - pretty darn cool.
June 11, 20251 yr Wait... Not everything that LTT reports on is accurate... I'm shock, Shocked I say...

June 11, 20251 yr I stopped watching anything by LTT a few years ago and I regret nothing. I feel dumber from just looking at their click-baity thumbnails.
June 12, 20251 yr I'd be lying if I said anything other than, I want this computer: ...or perhaps just some run time on it.
June 12, 20251 yr We watched Becoming Led Zeppelin on Netflix last night. Very enjoyable...missed it on IMAX but such is life. HS

June 19, 20251 yr Which is a 2-hr follow-up to the amazing 3-hr piece on tariffs in the computer hardware industry below: This piece was big and eye-opening enough that Bloomberg picked it up and brought Steve from GN (aka Tech Jesus) onto their podcast: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-05-07/the-tariff-buzzsaw-is-coming-for-hardcore-gamers
