  • Same as every gay bar I've ever entered.

  • We lost power for about 12 hours which is nothing, all things considered, and we've got the generator/transfer-switch so it was really only out for 4 hours because I didn't feel like setting it all up

  • Side benefit of all the late snow, the ability to snowshoe with the kids.  Got andrew out for a little walk in the woods this afternoon.

due to extreme laziness I've been driving into work without a jacket when it's 32 degrees outside, because it gets into the 50s on the ride home.

While the shed actually looked pretty good after popping the roof out again this year it would not have held any weight so....

Took steps to help it with that.

Remove beams.

Beat metal with hammer until somewhat straight.

Install new screws.

Doesn't leak, not to bad looking except it fucked with the patina. :D

Have some 12" 2x2s to screw to the beams but that will have to wait until it's warmer and not raining.

The mold armor stuff was OK but will pay the extra couple of bucks for Krud Kutter next time. :)

Why is this thread getting updated already?  It's not even December.  Sorry everyone who already got piled on with snow.

Guess I waited to long to visit. When will the deck be usable again? Our winter ends sometime in February...

Late March or April Shelly. Unless we get lucky.

THIS THIS THIS.  I hate this new editor even more. THIS. SERIOUSLY IT'S TOO SOON FOR SNOW I'M STILL STACKING FIREWOOD. THIS.  No really the buttons don't even do what the fuck they're supposed to. THIS. NO SNOW PLS. MY PLOW GUY RETIRED AND I NEED TO GET A NEW ONE. It's a good thing I only post sodding picture links, trying to enter text is a beknighted chore. NO REALY DON'T EVEN SAY THE "S" WORD. THIS.

$4,800 to fix a RAV4 that slid on black ice into a curb at 5mph sucks.  The majority was $3,100 parts and labor for a steering rack?  Seriously?  The cost to fix the car is half what we could sell it for...

Rained here today, snowed up in the mountains.12363992_10205561766943806_1160659155_o.

It's been raining a lot here, which is weird.  It started pouring rain while I was in a dim sum shop in SF this afternoon, and that turned to dense pea-sized hail for half a minute or so.  Made people ooh and ah.

We got a bit of snow here last night, but my daughter's flight from Chile > Houston > Colorado was delayed 2.5 hours because of snow in Houston, not due to our weather!
