December 25, 20178 yr Spent an hour and a half scraping ice off of the driveway after the storm late last week. Now we're forecast to get 6" to 9" as a Christmas gift which wouldn't be so bad if we weren't supposed to travel tomorrow afternoon. Here's to hoping it's over by noon, as predicted.
December 25, 20178 yr Send some of it west to the Sierras! Five ski resorts within an hour of me and all are ice atm. No snow on the east side of the valley to speak of, was 60f yesterday on the east side and the dirt-biking was great until the sun got too low!

December 30, 20178 yr I can't remember the exact temp but I think at about -40f the moisture crystallizes out of the air. It's really neat, little sparkling things floating everywhere. Just don't have exposed skin.
