  • Turns out the damage was a bit more severe than a bad cable. They could still be repaired for less than the cost of a new pair, but not enough less that it seemed worth it. So new Etys are on the way.

  • That's because you're supposed to put them in your ears!

  • So the LCD3 Zebrawood showed back up tonight and I think I just bought a pair. Rob, you get the LCD5 and we'll compare and see if they're worth it, kay?

Jerry Garcia's former home

A steal at half the price. Upgrade time for MOA? :)

Funny you should mention that, it just made the local SF paper website.

Be grateful: Jerry Garcia's former Nicasio home for sale : On The Block - Real Estate

I'd think the more hard core elements might be interested in the place they listed yesterday

I'm not sure what's more hideous, the house, or the photography. :kitty:

You can come up with excuses for the photography.

Not when you factor in for how much they're trying to sell the house.

99rental.com - Midgets vs. Mascots (Unrated) is $0.99 on iTunes US

"Released 2010 – His ungrateful preppy son competing against his unfaithful, gold-digging wife for his sizable fortune, a deceased mascot turned porn mogul pits the sniveling pair against one another by having them coach competing teams of midgets and mascots in this comedy starring Gary Coleman. As the competition gets underway, the little people discover that size doesn’t always matter while their cartoonish counterparts attempt to stay sober long enough to take the top prize. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi"

1 Sale A Day, Daily Deal Aliph Jawbone Icon Thinker for $40.

I've never used one personally, but I've been told that they're decent.

I've got one with an AverySound custom earmold and it is Fantastic!

I've had every Jawbone and each one is better than the previous one.

Not enough. They are going to have to pay me more than $9.84 to get me to take it.

There's 4 GOOD Steve MCQueen Movies on that site for $10. Not bad at all!

The first Blu-ray movie I bought was Bullet. Steve McQueen and Steven Seagal shouldn't even be mentioned together in the same thread.

INDEED!

Not all Steves are created equal...

Through October 12th, 14.92% off all Allen Edmonds shoes (and all other products), and 30% off some of their styles and colors.

For any who don't know, Allen Edmonds makes really excellent business shoes. Top quality, made in America, and they last and last. I have a pair that I bought in roughly 1980, and they are still going strong.

(Also, if you're a hard-to-fit size, they make more combinations of size and width than just about anyone.)

I am having a hard time holding back from splurging severely on this sale.

I have Allen Edmonds wing tips, and they are some of the best shoes I've ever owned.

Agreed, I have probably 10 pairs. Easily repaired if you wear the soles down as well.

Anyone get their Bitches Brew 40th sets? I got mine yesterday and the Tanglewood concert is really good. Haven't played the vinyl yet.

I have four pairs and many have called me crazy, but they fit and last forever. Cheers.

I tried a pair of Park Avenue's on today, but didn't really get a good fit. Left was too tight, right was close but heel a bit too loose. They definitely seemed well made though. Man, I have trouble buying non-sneakers that don't give me bad blisters.

No, but I have a bottle of it in the fridge.
