I suppose.  I was mostly just trying to communicate that there's no greater expertise I was following, I was just winging it based on food i had in my kitchen.

Mmm...that reminds me, I have some (admittedly pre-cooked) shrimp in the freezer and some cocktail sauce in the fridge...

Stretch approved. Although maybe lose the salad next time. 

Or at least lighten up on all those nasty complex carbohydrates...

Gluten free steak?

Veal schnitzel, spaetzel, cucumber salad and ligonberry jam (I didn't make the jam).

Cotes de Boeuf with roasted carrots and tenderstems and (most shameful) premade Yorkshire puddings.

 

 

At least they were Waitrose, none of that M&S riff-raff.

 

Those poor little carrots aren't even grown yet!
