I haven't been able to get kümmel in Texas at all... Russian variety I'd assume would be even harder to find. I've had it overseas though, and i would imagine it would work well in cocktails..

Nice cocktails Al and Jim and nice "killings" Mikey. I am jealous of the cocktails (and the whiskey). There is quite a nice bar downstairs but I haven't had time to take advantage of it.

Red Rock Malbec -- not bad, but on the jammy side for my tastes, without being too sweet. At least it's a plummy jammy.

Wild Cherry sparkling and seltzer (minus Cherry Skyy) continues.

Bit naughty of them to make it look so French. Actually comes from Wellington, about an hour NorthEast of Cape Town. Nice spot.

The distillers are quite a trip, too. Bought a bottle of their absinthe last time we passed through, but have yet to open it.
