I didn't know this part of her career. I found her in the late 80s and listened to the late 90s. I have missed a lot. Amazing release in the middle of disco area that is so full of soul and great production.

Supertramp, Live in Paris '79 -- great gig, all their top songs, zero filler, very great.

I was reminded how the second half of "Child of Vision" is just one long -- stonkin' -- piano solo, very much like The The's "Uncertain Smile".  Compare:

I don't really remember the details of the show, but I took a girl to see her favorite band REO Speedwagon in late 1979 even though I wouldn't have been caught dead there otherwise. I do recall it was a good show, and I also recall I didn't get even a proper kiss for my efforts.
