Once again this year I'm prepping to ride a century in support of the Kelly Brush Foundation. I have (quite literally) been training my ass off and started the year with a goal of riding more than 2,020 (get it?) miles before the event. Well, I've truly exceeded that and am currently sitting at ~2,300 with a few more weeks to go before the ride. Of course, as most things have gone in 2020, this year's event will be quite different from the past with no formal large gathering in VT. The 220v - 110v step down transformers your tax dollars bought me have an audible 50Hz hum coming from the transformer and it’s driving me crazy. I’d like to source an alternative low-wattage (under 200) unit that will be dead silent for my listening room, but I’d like to know for sure it’s silent before I ship it all the way to Moldova and plug it in. Any d-_-b recommendations?

Hey everyone, For those who don't know, Kristen (kids' mom) has worked at Seattle Humane since it opened its new facility about 2 years ago. They've been largely closed to the public and have had most of their animals in foster care during COVID, but their situation is starting to change and they're now able to take in some more surgeries/surrenders and start helping animals and families in this area again. I've gotten to hear some of the amazing work they've been able to accomplish with keeping/placing/helping out, and I'm pretty happy to be a part of it.
