I'm really enjoying hearing the Chronicles of narnia ( The Chronicles of Narnia: Amazon.ca: Tyndale Publishers: Books ) and am hoping for some suggestions of similar audiobooks with original orchestral scores and "cinema-quality digital sound design" (ie. produced on the level of a good movie rather than a stage play or solo narration). reading text in a book isn't an option the stage play and narration style audiobooks don't retain my attention, this movie style presentation is proving great (I'm now 4 books in ).

So who is it? Chen is probably the best, but my favorite has got to be Morimoto for his creativity and cross-cultural cooking style. The Natto battle is great. I know there were a few more that had a few battles, but I couldn't fit them. And I don't even know their names, so whatever.

Superman! I just saw it and though it was something like 154 minutes I was pleasantly suprised. I thought it was great! Kevin Spacey and Brandon Routh both fit the parts perfectly imo. Did anyone else see it?

In my case, Before I automatically started ordering an isolation platform with any disc player. Before I lined up several portables in a level-matched (to sub-0.5dbs), blind-switch test. After all, if you're going to do it, you might as well do it properly unlike the fanboys. Before I could quite breezily say spending $10K on a used headphone was not entirely unjustifiable. Before I knew what word clocks were. Before Geekophilia. I think I might finally be approaching that phase.

I love them for what they are, my commuter iem. =T The other day after a brisk jog, the left side now has intermittent sound. I don't know where the problem originates from, so I was hoping someone here might be able to take a look at them. Well, either that or if someone is selling a pair, I'd love to take them off your hands. I called Altec Lansing last night and they told me the im716's have been discontinued for 3 years already and that since I was out of warranty for 1 month, they couldn't help me. =[ Any help would be appreciated.

We need to get new tires for our car. The originals were Michelin Energy Saver A/S - P205/60R16 91V. The ones I am looking at are Michelin Primacy MXV4 205/60R16 92V. The load rating on the replacements would be slightly different but higher so I assume this is ok. From reading, it seems that I just don't want to get a lower load rating.

I drove down to my Granddad's house this weekend to attend his 90th Birthday party. It was the very first Birthday party he's ever had in all of his 90 years. About 80 friends and relatives drove down to share the very special day with him. This was the second time I've ever seen him tear up. The first was when my Grandmother passed away. He was absolutely shocked when he walked into the Church rec. rm. and saw how many people showed up. It was the best day I've had in a long time. The wife and I have a trip scheduled to NYC Feb. 12-15 as I don't have school that Monday. I know we are definitely going to see some Broadway show but other than that we are pretty open. this past year, one of the better parts of my driving schedule has been listening to wait wait dont tell me. a very well written (or performed, if it isnt rehearsed) news quiz/slight comedy npr show. part of the allure has been the voice of peter sagal and his presentation and after a few months i had a fairly decent picture of what he might look like in my head. a few minutes ago i randomly happened upon the npr website and having never seen a picture of him, i searched for him. he doesnt look like anything i had pictured =/ not that that changes my desire to listen to the show but it does put me off a tad. i want to say i feel cheated but it is just something silly. …
