OK, that is really lame and stupid, but in the mess of favorites in ff I really should like to have a favicon for head.case

I need to build a new set of steps from the attached garage to the house. I always like the ones a friend of mine has, and went out and bought the materials for them. These are what I would call box steps, but I haven't had any luck on finding plans for something like this online. I was planning on doing these with 2x8 framing on 12" centers and 3/4" plywood. Bottom section would be 5' x 31" and top 36" x 18".I attached a pic of the ones at my friend's house. I'm not sure how the overhang is done on these. Is it just the plywood, or something else? Any suggestions welcome.

Hey everyone, For those who don't know, Kristen (kids' mom) has worked at Seattle Humane since it opened its new facility about 2 years ago. They've been largely closed to the public and have had most of their animals in foster care during COVID, but their situation is starting to change and they're now able to take in some more surgeries/surrenders and start helping animals and families in this area again. I've gotten to hear some of the amazing work they've been able to accomplish with keeping/placing/helping out, and I'm pretty happy to be a part of it. Do any of you have any recommendations for small business software. I've been looking at Quicken, Quickbooks, Turbotax etc. I've never used any of them and don't know exactly what I need. They need to be reasonably easy to use and learn as ell as not being excessively expensive. Life is a big hectic mess right now and I need something to simplify at least some of it.

I have no idea why, I sure didn't do anything, but my cellphone is doing the weirdest stuff. The screen is flashing, it won't recieve service, and when I press a button, it makes a weird "shock" sound. It's like a Packard Bell computer without the huge tower. :'( Even sadder is this is the 3rd replacement in one year. Damn phone.

School year ends this Friday, and my wife and I are out of here and headed to Portland OR for a week! (kids will be with grandparents, yes!). Will gladly take any recs for places to visit.
