I'm not receiving email notifications of activity in my subscribed threads. Anyone else?

A lot of our off topic discussion is about television shows and movies, so what about a TV and movies subforum? I think it would have decent activity.

Some of the threads are just massive, and an in thread search feature would be nice.

I just read about this, and I found it too short. Believe it or not, sometimes I actually think about the post when editing, and find that while I'm sitting in the edit window, rephrasing and reworking something (shocking isn't it...), the time runs out and by the time I hit the save button I can't change it any more. How about 10 mins?

Didn't we used to be able to change the colors and what have you of the forum? Sometimes when browsing forums all the white makes my eyes hurt, I typically turn on a dark theme if anything like that is available. Do we have that? Thank you kind sirs. -Postjack, Esq.

Got an interesting issue here. When I navigate to the head-case.org front page my browser (chorme) always thinks that I am logged out. I can't get to my PM's from the front page without logging back in. What is strange is that even I show up as logged out on the front page, once I drill down to a specific thread or sub-forum I show up as logged in. I've tried clearing cookies and it doesn't seem to solve the issue. I also meant to put this in the existing "Keep getting logged out of HC" thread but I can't post a reply there. Do I need elevated privileges to respond to threads in the "Suggestions" sub-forum? Thanks!

First, let me say this is not that big a deal, I'm just a bit curious about the following. I don't know if I'm just doing something stupid with Fire Fox, but for whatever reason my Head Case toolbar bookmarks (the drag-able ones) always loose the HC favicon after visiting another site that has favicons. Same deal with regular old folder bookmarks. So if I go to Headfi from Headcase, my bookmark reads 'Head Case' but features the Headfi favicon. Usually coming back seems to replace it again. I just uploaded few pics into the image gallery here and noticed "Gallery Image" button while replying to a thread. I clicked on the button, but I get a new window with the following message and I can't get at any images. Am I doing something wrong? Fatal Gallery2 Error: Cannot get the Gallery2 ID for this file. I am offended by the music forum being placed under the "entertainment" category, being lumped in with transient garbage like TV and video games. It'd make more sense to name the category "Arts & Entertainment" or something.

Is it possible to add the option for a daily digest notification of subscribed threads, instead of an individual email for each and every subscribed thread? I recently changed my settings from "Immediate" notification to "Daily" notification, and now I get sent 15-20 emails at 10:02PM each night, instead of spread out throughout the day. I did this to reduce the number of emails I get, not just to change the time that they arrive. I looked through the settings and didn't see a daily digest option. Thanks!

I thought maybe head-case users can join it if you want. I don't IRC much but it could be nice for chats/questions etc. Any suggestions?

I saw this on the Steve Hoffman forums and think this might be cool to have. Basically in the "Search" drop down has a check box that allows you to "Search titles only". I think it would be convenient to have. Yes I know you can do it by going into "Advanced Search" but still, it's a suggestion, right?

Is there any way we can keep the Search, User , Permission and Article boxes to the right with the Recent, Stats and Shoutbox? On my laptop, and especially on my smartphone, having the actual topics narrowed so much by having features on both sides has made browsing more difficult. It's much easier, for me at least, if the forum topics and actual threads stay left-justified so I don't have to scroll over for everything. Thoughts? Anyone else having an issue with the new layout?

Show own posts appears to be broken beyond page 1. I tried it by clicking my own profile and nate's, and they don't appear to be working, neither. Firefox 2.0.0.11 on Windows XP SP2+.

Anyone else having issues with the site being slow and/or unresponsive? I started noticing it last week - didn't think anything of it at the time but it has been persistently slow and unresponsive since then. I'd click to go to a forum and it just hangs there or go to a blank screen and hangs there. Sometime, it eventually gets to the forum I clicked on, other times, I need to refresh/close tab/etc. before it works. I haven't noticed inordinate slow down or unresponsiveness on other sites and, FWIW, my internet speed hasn't gone down (at least according to speediest.net).

First, is there a way to get the negation character from British keyboards to display on the forums. Also, because of the way that images larger than the width of the thread display get the right hand sides cut off and one has to either post a small picture or scroll, could there be an [imgw][/imgw] option made available, which would automatically resize larger pictures to the thread width, and then if you click on them, you get a new tab/window with the full size picture in it?

I updated my Mac and iOS devices yesterday to 10.12.3 and 10.2.1 respectively, and now after I cleared cookies I am getting this: I tried clearing my cookies in Mac OS Safari and I see the same screen. Any browser that I am still logged in to (using Chrome at the moment) work fine.

Is it possible to change smiley code from [/php] to something else? Every time I put a date [php](1978) or (1988) it changes to this (1978). Some goes for listing items 1) 2) .... [/php]Looks like this 1) 2) ... Not a big deal but can be frustrating when you notice this after editing time expired.

Is there a (relatively easy) way to create a collective gear list? I know we have the individual profiles and sigs, but it would be boss if we had some sort of searchable index/db/whatever so we could more easily find people with certain pieces of gear. Thoughts?

I'm not sure if anybody else would want this but I for one really would like to too see it. It's so disheartening to see something you want in the first post only to find out it was sold 11 posts down. If this forum software will allow it, please make it happen. so I can go from TO
