Continuum Not sure if anyone here has heard this, I started playing in 2001 and still log on every once in a while, it's that kind of game. Either you will hate it or want to get good - there is a fairly steep learning curve. Try playing in the zone Extreme-games. Figured I have enjoyed this for a while, might as well pass it on.

This is probably the best game I've played on the PS3 so far. It's challenging and very rewarding to play. It feels like the old kings field games on the ps1 but way more polished and refined. As a warning I'll tell you that it's very hard and you'll die a lot. If you're easily frustrated by games like ninja gaiden on the xbox then you'll probably throw your controller a couple of times.

Anyone played it? When I was in high school I was pretty obsessed with DDR and ITG, but once I got into college I lost my access to any local machines so I picked up the pc alternative. For those not in the know, pretty much you mash the shit out of a keyboard in attempt to hit different combinations of arrows that are matched up with keys on your keyboard. It can get pretty nuts.

So this game is coming out in a few days and I'm pretty sure that more than a few of us will be getting this game. What system will you guys be buying it for. I'll probably pick it up for whatever system seems to be the majority here and we can make a clan or something.

So I told myself I wouldn't play Fallout 3 until I completely exhausted Oblivion. Well I haven't completely exhausted Oblivion, but I thought I'd play Fallout 1 and 2 before I play Fallout 3. I actually never played the original Fallout games. Fallout 1 is great! Definitely holds up, and I'm really enjoying it. Well, up until now. I was doing the Brotherhood mission to head to the glow. I'm not using a walkthrough or anything, but I did read to get some Rad-X and Radaway. I took some rad-x before I went in, and ran the whole dungeon, but now I always die a short while after I leave. I don't have enough radaway to clear all my radiation, and taboot I saved so mu…

Aside from games, the interface seems like a game-changer. Poor presentation (typical MS) but good substance I thought.

Thinking about buying one or the other for my two sons for xmas. They currently have a PS2. I don't think they would be interested in playing any of their old games, and not sure what newer games they are interested in, though I would guess it would be Call of Duty, etc. I know they used to play the ones where you run around the city being a gangsta of some type, forget the name (keep thinking Sin City, but that was a movie) So, which one to go for? From what I understand, PS3 is free online whereas X-box requires a subscription? Also, any deals out there would be appreciated. Like these two need anything else to distract them from school (where's that double-palm…

I'm normally a run and gun kind of player, but after repeatedly playing Firing Range map so much and losing to the biggest camping whores (lying down in the garage, hallways, etc.) I decided to show them what REAL camping is about. Here's a video of a match from last night where I went 37-0. Attack Dogs + Chopper Gunner = Massacre. Follow through click to the Youtube link for the 720P version. -Ed

2011 looks like it's going to be another busy year for great games and in the next month or so I'll be looking at getting: Killzone 3, Bulletstorm, Dragon Age 2, Dawn of War II: Retribution and maybe Homefront. What games are you guys looking forward to picking up this year?

I'm just not into computer games ... I guess I spend to much time at the keyboard and really want to go ride my motorcycles. Unfortunately, I'm starting to think I need to review gaming headphones and I don't want to be completely talking out of my ass ... so I've got to get into some game or other. The one game I did like was Microsoft Flight Simulator. Well ... it's not really a game, is it. And the audio was useless for testing. So, I'm looking for recommendations for a game that's got good audio for testing gaming headphones. I like flying around, but I'm thinking not too many flight games are that interesting audio-wise. Still, that would be my preferenc…

I am just finishing up Mass Effect for the first time, and immediately wanted to replay it as a different character. I love RPGs that have really high replay value. I think ME will be good for at least another good play through. This got me thinking about other games I've owned (specifically RPGs) and whether or not it was fun to replay them. IMO the grandmaster of all replayable games is Oblivion. Not only because of the huge amount of mods available, but also because of the many different ways you can play your character, and the ease with which one can RP. Then there is the flip side, Fallout 3. Fantastic game, but after I finished it I just wasn't compelled to…

Anyone try the Beta? I liked it a lot, despite the bugs. They did fix a lot of them during the Beta, so they were certainly working their asses off at DICE. I played the XBox 360 version, but the frame rate is too slow, 30fps and slower sometimes. I really want that silky smooth 60fps. Also the PC version looks soooooo much better. I've loved Battlefield since the original 1942 and BF2. I've not been a fan of the Consoled Bad Company versions, though. BTW, the PC Download version is for sale at Amazon for $42. http://www.amazon.com/Battlefield-3-Limited-Edition-Download/dp/B005Q47M56/ref=dsvrt_myd_asin_block We can get a Head-Case squad going as well. …

Yes, I have lost my mind and spent an assload on actually getting the Fanatec CSR Wheel, shifter, and Elite Pedals like in this picture (not mine pictured, but I have the same set up, including the stand). Although, I did sell off a few nice knives to fund this purchase... The game looks and feels fantastic. I must admit the collaboration / co-branding with Top Gear has pushed me over the edge with getting stuff for this game. Also, the fact that they support true H pattern shifter, is why I got it. Flappy Paddles and Sequential shifter is there as well. The amazing Auto Vista mode (a spin around the car gallery tour, with a feature narration by Jeremy Cl…

http://sc2.sourceforge.net/ They've updated this again in a big time way. I'm going through this game right now and I just marvel how much depth and texture and complexity there is in this game to this day and how well its aged thanks to the mod work and tender loving care from the creators themselves on this project. http://uqm-mods.sourceforge.net/ There's a few side mods that go with this that I'm really happy about not the least of which are time dilation mods that hold back the Kor-Ah Borg like March some 200 years so you actually have time to enjoy the damned game. That always my one biggest complaint with this game. http://forum.uqm.stack.nl/…

www.hitman.com http://www.vg247.com...man-absolution/ Q&A with the developers. ^^ Watch this gameplay footage. This is a generous and lengthy video. I think they're headed on the right track so far. I see some shades of Splinter Cell Conviction which is an underrated and overlooked gem IMO and I also see a little dash of Deus Ex: Human Revolution in addition to the obvious Batman like radar capability which I hope doesn't make the game too easy. Overall, I still see things that definitely reassure me that this is a Hitman game. I'm not happy about composer Jesper Kyd not returning but apparently that was due to a scheduling confl…

http://forum.1cpubli...ead.php?t=15109 Release date supposedly Q4 2011 at least according to Gamespot. I hope so. http://www.gamespot....ies3/index.html From 1C: http://forum.1cpubli...splay.php?f=178 Main thread http://forum.1cpubli...ead.php?t=16101 Previews Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uIA8bXJObo YES! For those uninitiated to the series you can get both previous game together on Steam for about $25. Well worth it IMO. Think a really nice Hitman clone set during WW2 with its own set of wrinkles and unique features with an evil masochists's level of difficulty in on the easiest settin…
