I still have my first spent shell and feather from your first ruffed grouse. So many happy memories. And the bond We were always one. Always together. Always a team. Always forgiving each other for our faults and rejoicing in our successes. One heart. One mind. Together. That, my friend, is what I will miss the most. I will miss being with you. I will miss your head in my lap. I will miss you slobbering on me. I will miss the glow in your eyes when I walked in the room. I will miss your gentle nature and intense drive to find those birds. Heard a lot of good things about these guys. http://www.rythmikaudio.com/products1.html Can't really fault SVS though -- I have two of their cylinder subs (which I foolishly thought would be less conspicuous than the boxes, and then they turned out to be the size of fucking oil drums) and objectively way too much bass. Which is kinda fun.

I have a SB-2000 incomming tomorrow. I'll be mating it with my KEF LS50s.

When I was referring to the the SRX circuit, I meant Jim's SRX Plus circuit. The original is pretty good, but Jim has taken it to an entirely new level. I don't often build other people's designs anymore, but the original SRX always intrigued me, and the SRX Plus has renewed my interest. I have a reputation for building "over-the-top" tube projects, but I actually find it a lot more fun to see how much you can do with simple circuits and limited resources. In the not too distant future I'll be building Jim's SRX.

Well we squeaked another one out. Tonight felt much more a test of wills. TB triplet line less effective but hawks D looking rundown. Still waiting for hawks urgency to show up. Crawford must avoid his bipolar tendencies on Saturday night. We need him to show up more than ever... hoping his stand the final 2:00 tonight keeps him amped up. And Kaner bringing some showtime would be nice too.

For the money, I have not found anything that is a better product than SVS. Mine is about 10 years old and still kicks ass.

So sorry, Al! Your tribute brought a tear to my eye. And I missed the two I lost in the last year all over again. The bond we have with them is quite remarkable!

I can’t pick a favourite between the KGSSHV or BHSE out of the SR009s. I can’t be arsed waiting for the BHSE to warm up, I spend most of my time using the KGSSHV.

I've finished building a KGST and it sounds amazing. Much thanks to the Stax Mafia for an awesome design and making all of this possible, Headinclouds for the group buy, and everyone here for your help and assistance! So I gave one of the two KGSTs I was building as a wedding gift to a friend who just so happens to be a photographer and he gave me in return some pictures of it.
