Increasing trimmers resistance always increase corresponding side’s current and vice versa. If upper trimmer (ksa1156) increases corresponding side’s output voltage increases and the other decreases. If lower trimmer (ksc2752) increases corresponding side’s output voltage decreases and other side increases. So far I’ve preadjusted all eight trimmers to the same resistance. Resulting in roughly the same current of all for channels and in an output voltage of some positive volts - all good and not needing any further action. To me it has been a bit tricky to turn all trimmers to achieve better balance and offset than when the preadjusted.1 point

Just dropped Mary and Lance off at LAX for their flight to Denver where Lance will have three intense days of competition. I had to buy two new Epee weapons because his coach said the current ones he has are crappy beginner level ones. The foil weapons are fine but ouch!1 point

My biggest concern hand tapping was snapping off in the hole due to angular misalignment. That should not happen with the Shars tool. ? I think you will like it when you use it. It works very well for what it was intended for. Thx to Kerry for sharing.1 point

Hello, while i wait for some parts for restoring my sra12s i made some new earpads for my sigmas. I also made the internal dampening. Following the advice of Spritzer i used the most dense material i could find. By pure luck the material and quantities i used seems to be ok. The soundstage seems here, definitely the best of the headphones i own. The bass is present and clear so i am pretty happy of the final result. I decided to substitute the earpads because i don't feel comfortable using earpads that have been used by someone else for 30 years... I decided to not use a spare pair of lambda earpads because of the different shape of the lower back part. I made them in leather following the procedure Stax (or their supplier) probably used. I used an embroidery machine to sew the ear oval on the reverse side of fabrics, then i reversed the fabrics. With the fabrics now on the right side i added some low heigh memory foam cutted a couple of mm smaller than the finished earpad. Now i used the embroidery machine to close the earpads. Cutted the excess leather and here they are. They are a bit bigger than the original ones and are less stuffed, nothing dramatical but i will remade them the next time i have time to use the embroidery machine. The same method can be used to make them with a sewing machine for the oval and an overlock machine using 3 threads and a short lenght stitch.1 point

I'm in for 2019. I always want to try, but get motivated too late, so I'm literally setting a reminder to get started in October next year.1 point

Here's the truly ironic thing about that twat Jacob Rees-Mogg. He is massively in favour of leaving the EU without a deal. And a few months ago he moves his personal fortune of UKP500M from the UK to a bank in the Republic of Ireland (in other words to the EU). Because he knows that if we leave without a deal, the UK economy is going down the toilet fast. Bastard. Real bastard cunt fucker.0 points
