I've been super slow about everything lately. But I did just get a note this morning that the final piece I need shipped. So ask again on a week or so.

Done some soldering exercise today. This small board contains 100 x 0402 10K resistors. Hand soldered with a Weller station, XNT-H tip and 0.3 mm solder wire. A few of the resistors are not flat to the board but I think they are acceptable soldered. Looking at your board, Kerry, there seems to be some really nasty things. Any chance for part numbers? I have to convince myself that the best way is to pay for a prepopulated board…

Decided to use the new air fryer as God intended - donuts. Liberal extra glaze applied, hence messiness. The first few looked pretty standard but were consumed quickly.

An international crime drama, based on a true story, most of which takes place in the 70's. 8 episodes on Netflix and definitely worth the watch IMO.

I've watched some of it and definitely was hooked; just gotta carve out the time. From what I understand, Steve had a good take on it.

Rogue-likes and procedurally generated game levels have been an increasing trend in the games business. The promise of saving a ton of developer time and expense and having the computer generate "infinitely repayable" content is an alluring one. It is a trend I hate. Computer generated content can be helpful as a template, but the difference between hand-crafted content and procedurally generated stuff is often not subtle. The Hitman series is in many ways at the extreme opposite end of the spectrum from Rogue-likes, and I love that about it. Everything in these three games is so obviously hand-crafted and polished to a fine sheen. While the content is less repayable once you've consumed it, I'd rather have less of something great than an infinite amount of "meh" when it comes to how I spend my leisure time. Hitman is one of my top 10 favorite games. I've been having a ton of fun with it. Best pitch I can give is that it is like being able to play "Groundhog Day" only you role-play as a James Bond-level super assassin in exotic locales instead of a washed-up weatherman in Punxsutawney, PA.

Yes, in that case we have been in production since last year and have crossed over a hundred units in the production mark. It's not a lot but, this is passion not a business. In terms of refinement, refinement to minor fixes have been done. As @JoaMat had pointed out last year regarding the connections, now it is a fully soldered connection from the earlier screw down one. This solved majority of the issues we had in the early units. Then upon Spritzer and Wachara's recommendations since last year, the drivers have 2-stage dust protection and go through vigorous anechoic chamber testing to detect noise/buzz/squeal. We have positively eliminated that as well. Lastly, the overall assembly and Manufacturing has also been refined now that we have been in production since last year. The RR1 is here to stay, it will not be updated as "2.0" or a "2nd Gen" as other Manufacturers do. There will be future products coming out but, that's another story as we are currently busy with other non-headphone related projects as well.

I got some terribly sad news last night from one of my sisters that a close family friend lost her baby in week 40 of her pregnancy. It would have been her and her husband's second child. I can't even imagine how devastated they must be. It is very, very sad.
