  1. I was fortunate to finally see Gary Clark Jr on his own vs a multi-band format (jam off type things). So impressive and the venue was intimate enough to really see him do his stuff. He had Grace Bowers & Hodge Podge open. Hard to believe the lady is now only 18...just wow. Best show I've seen in a good while. HS
  2. Lots and lots of Bjørn Riis -- did an entire discog run and then some (repeated many tracks) "He really digs Pink Floyd" Example: Now listen to Creatures of the Night
  3. Music From "The Elder" by Kiss (1981) https://album.link/jkfd7vxwp0kst Example: Wait, is Kiss good actually? I went into this blind. And I enjoyed it thoroughly. More of a concept album with progy elements. Just what I like. Are there some bad tunes, sure. But there are some great tunes. I read more about it later, and there are many that HATE this album. Oh well. I have never been one to follow trends very well.
  4. Debugging a PowerMac 7100, 1998. Supposedly this is Google exec Eve Astrid Andersson. Photos by Phil Greenspun. It looks like she has a nice ACOG.

  16. RIP to my beautiful wife Karen Greenfield. She passed peacefully overnight, after we all said our goodbyes, as well as having other family and some friends talk to her on speakerphone as well. Thank you all for your compassion and kind words, and for letting me vent. Our son Andrew and I will of course go on, but there is already an ache I have, reflected in a large and emptier house. Please raise a glass at some point for her and our family, and think kindly on a wonderful and beautiful woman.
