I'd avoid Tamron 24-70 due to how its vc works. Also, doesn't really affect actual use but the buttons/dials D800 feel much, much nicer than the ones on D600/610, at least the ones I've handled. Don't know about the ones on D750. And frick, I still need to send you Tri-X. They're still sitting in my freezer.

It was terrible - both the process and my wrapping job. It's a skill I've never acquired and haven't had the need to since my wife usually does all the wrapping for us.

Due to number of circumstances, I had the pleasure of wrapping up our children's presents. I'm going to have to tell our daughter that her presents were wrapped by an intern elf.

We already knew this (took him to doctor last night) but Beckett's got his first ear infection and conjunctivitis, along with god awful sounding coughs. The conjunctivitis appears to be clearing up nicely, but he still has nasty cough and hasn't been quite himself. I'll be taking another day off tomorrow, which I'm sure the work will love.

Staying home with a sick infant. At least he's not completely miserable.

Figures my team shows up for the consolation weeks. At least ODJ was a nice waiver pickup.

My in-laws switched to 8.1 recently from XP and they've been fine with the changes for the most part. I should I install Classic Shell for them, though.
