AKG support worries.
What? Is this the kinder, gentler head-case? That took about 5 clicks: Our products meet the strictest quality assurance standards. This is why we can offer you exceptionally long warranty coverage on our high-quality products. In the event that service under warranty is ever required, first contact the dealer who sold you the AKG product. USA Harman Consumer phone: 1.888.452.4254 email: [email protected] http://www.akg.com/p..._psmand,12.html You sure the lead wire on the driver isn't repairable? That said, why were you doing a recable? Oh yeah, I forgot... its fashionable.

I sort of want a pair of good closed phones
I have a pair of K271 Mk.I that I use at work (with velour pads, so should be quite close if not identical to the Mk. IIs). I have a pair of 840s at home. I dont do reviews, etc. and don't usually talk much about my impressions of things, but my experience would say that the 271s have less bass (though adequate IMO), and are more neutral than the 840s are. The 840s have a mid bass peak, and while "fun" phones to listen to, are more colored. Both of these driven with Gilmore Dynalos.

Mourning my mother
^ just to add to the sentiment and to thank you for sharing these with us. As Vicki and others have said, the love in the family is quite evident and touching.

The "#$!* I forgot to Order It" Thread
Thanks Doug, but the parallel combo gets me closer. That said, i just ordered a 50pk of 1% MF for $2 shipped. I traded my '09 Accord in last week for the same thing only 2011... the sales guy (who I like and have dealt with for a couple of years now) saw my custom Mogami cable I had made for my ipod to the Aux jack in the other car, and asked where I had gotten it. When I told him i made it, he asked me if I could make him one for his iphone to an aux jack. After doing a bit of reading, i realized that he would be better served with a dock cable. Since I had a spare dock connector around, and some Canare, I decided to go that route. Hence the need for the resistor, but also didn't want to order something from Digikey or Mouser.

The "#$!* I forgot to Order It" Thread
no one? Need a 68K resistor for an iphone dock cable. really just a bump cuz it wasn't showing in new posts. View New Contact has been acting funny lately though... read posts (threads) aren't removed, etc.

KGSSHV, Balanced Dynahi Rev A and DynaFET board run
Yep. Ours got knocked out for an hour or so, but was back by 11 or so. Sucks that yours might be out for that long KG... hope they get it fixed sooner.

The "#$!* I forgot to Order It" Thread
Not really a forgot to order item... I need a 68K resistor for an iphone cable. Needs to be small (1/8W) to fit inside the dock connector. If not, I can probably parallel a 220K and 100K which should be close enough (I have those).

DDSIII DIY Work Thread
Yep. L normally signifies an inductor of some type, and those do look like ferrite beads. C is normally used to denote a capacitor, and R a resistor.

And now what did you do TODAY?
Took the day off and did a 28 mile ride on the Prairie Path (W Chicago burbs). On my way back, a lady walking two dogs came from off the path (wooded) with her dogs leading her by 10 feet. She of course couldn't see me (and apparently does not listen as she should have heard me). Glad I still can do a track stand as I stopped just short of the dogs, couldn't get my feet unclipped, but managed to stand and then take off when she pulled the dogs back while saying "Sorry...". The ever popular "Fuck this is going to hurt..." was going thru my mind at the time, just hoping I didn't break a collar bone or something. Good times

Just one good game.
For flight games, I used to fly Warbirds online... WWII combat simulator, pretty good. Not sure if it would be of much use for gamer headphone testing though. I haven't played it much, but Call of Duty always looked good. Warbirds

KGSSHV, Balanced Dynahi Rev A and DynaFET board run
You might try to get the grid stopper resistors as close to the FET pins as possible... they seem somewhat better in the new layout. I moved mine to the bottom of the board, right on the pin.

KGSSHV, Balanced Dynahi Rev A and DynaFET board run
I would guess that these are KG's layouts? That said, on the previous DynaFET GB, I don't think anyone has gotten theirs working yet, with the exception of KG? luvdunhill ? naamanf ? vvs_75 no Digipete no j4cbo Kevin Gilmore think so looser no? Pars kinda (no) Smeggy ? digger ? Team Spain no? Icarium no?
