There's a fair bit of hype around their stuff from the faithful, but there's also no doubt they turn out solid, innovative products at great prices. I haven't heard the open-baffle x-series speakers myself but would be inclined to take a chance on them if the price is attractive. The MFW-15 is a steal even at full price.
