  1. George has said he is in talks with people to use his voice for a GPS system. This is fucking awesome news.

  4. Good post Dusty. I highly recommend Lucifer By Mike Carey IMHO he "destroys" Gaiman Carey's writing is the best I have read in the world of graphic novels (I have read everyone mentioned above) even if you think I am moron please still look into Carey's work it is truly something special, Grant Morrsion's stuff is great as well (did not see his name mentioned). On another note I am reading a book that would be of interest to most HC'ers Amazon.com: Perfecting Sound Forever: An Aural History of Recorded Music (9780571211654): Greg Milner: Books worth reading about the Loudness wars, Leadbelly, Edison and other facets of recording music.

  12. A really beautiful machine, thanks for sharing this.
  13. and some tube amps as well (also has been done). I would go with Naaman's recommendations, you should figure out how much time and effort you want to put into this. Good installation and tuning are very important and finding someone who can do it right can be a PITA and expensive. If you are not going to go whole hog better to just get some decent stuff and forget about it as it is time consuming to get great sound in a car unless you are a ninja like Naaman and can DIY. I know this may be more info then you wanted but it always seems to start out with I would like a good head unit and some nice speakers and then the madness it grips you pulls on your genitals and does not let go.
