Decided that this week needed to start out on the right note. Coconut Chocolate Chip Scones

Yeah, the Omega ones are brutal. Of the straps on that site I think I like the sporty one best. And I think 20mm width appears to be the correct size, but could I get a confirmation from someone?

Any advice on a rubber band for my 2541.80?

Not quite cooking but just made, then devoured some homemade guac. A little too much onion, but still quite good.

Nice, Dan. Gives me an idea of what mine probably weighs.

Good luck, Marc.

I still consider a sub-6 0-60 time pretty fast. Just because lots of cars are doing it now doesn't change that for me.

For MTB's I just use the standard, rubber-band-secured Garmin mount. For the road bike I use a K-edge mount like this - http://www.amazon.com/K-Edge-Handlebar-Computer-Mount-Garmin/dp/B00DR7CDPS.

Wow, preliminary Congrat!

Looking good, Dan. Me - commuted to work yesterday. The morning was perfect, 70, no sun, no wind. The afternoon, not so much. Blazing sun, 10-15mph headwind and 90 degrees. I was spanked by the time I got home.

Just curious - has anyone been brave enough to try the new, V2.0 Khozmo attenuators? I say that PE is now stocking them (in some values) and that more are available direct from Khozmo. At ~$400 for a quad w/ upgraded resistors it would appear to be a pretty good value as long as it's not as fragile as the earlier ones. http://khozmo.com/products_dale_shunt.html

Double this. We are actually hurting for rain at this point in NH, which is crazy considering how much precipitation we got at the end of the winter.

This.

What the others said, Naaman, hunker down when necessary.

Cheers to those who have served and those still serving.

Fuuuuuuuu.... We may now be entering The Shelly Zone. I went downstairs today to put some stuff in the boiler room and noticed that the area immediately surrounding my hot water heater is damp. Shit. Some investigation identified that the pressure relief valve on the top is letting a little water by, maybe a drip every few minutes. Hopefully it's just the valve and not the heater. Plumber called, wallet emptying surely to follow.

I had a go a creating a course in Garmin's software this morning. We'll see how it goes on the ride this afternoon. I set a moderately aggressive pace for the ride - a 24 mile, mostly uphill ride to some of our friend's house. Not sure that was the best idea considering that I'm a) pretty out of shape and trying out a new saddle. That latter point is probably doubly true in terms of less than great ideas but here's to hoping for more comfort, less pain.

I bought it for Andrew for his birthday. Really, it was a gift for both of us.

Yeah, as the hours go by and the guy continues to no-show on the follow up I'm increasingly glad that I got it working again. I'll probably call shortly and tell him not to bother and just order the board from Amazon and do the repair myself. And at least I have ice for my drink later...

The used RS5 gets my vote.

Repairman came, took 5 minutes (maybe less) to diagnose the problem. Fried motherboard. Luckily he's a local, knows the lady that runs the parts shop and is willing to install a new one for 30% of the cost of the fridge, which seems reasonable. He just has to go pick it up, run some errands and then he'll be back. He also told me that occasionally you can simply resolder the fried connection at the undersized relay that cooked itself and get the fridge running again for short periods of time. So after he left I took the board to the office, solder the bad spot and reinstalled it. Viola! The fridge is running again. So hopefully this will allow me to save the food inside the fridge. The stuff in the freezer is already screwed and thankfully, doesn't amount to much.

Happy Birthday, Brent!
