You may be able to find it cheaper by a few bucks or of if time is not of the essence I could simply send you mine to use for a little while.

I usually just solder the sockets from the top, one leg first and then another on the opposite side so I can adjust if required.

It's going to be near 150 after you get impressions taken and pay shipping (one or both ways). The good news is that my custom glued tips worked well on the trip, I would have gone insane without them. The red-eye back from LA had not one but two crying kids and I wasn't able to sleep more than a couple hours so it would have been unbearable without serious isolation and tunes. Took the red-eye from LA to Boston and made it home about an hour early. I'm so tired it hurts and work should be entertaining tomorrow but it's good to be home.

In my head there's little risk in replacing a fuse with a lower current rated model, the real question is are the fuses that you're taking out slo or fast blow types. I wouldn't want to replace a fast-blo with a slo-blo and there's no good way to tell what type of fuse it is from looking at the package as far as I can tell. Last question, were the fuses blown? If so, simply replacing them is probably a bad idea.

I don't see a way out of it without either lowering the cooling load (lowering the rail voltage or something like that ) or increasing the cooling capacity with new heatsinks. My vote is for lowering the load, for now, to see if you can get it to the point where it's stable without the use of a fan.

Woke up at 4am (HST local time) to try and get a jump start and readjusting to EST. About to head downstairs for some coffee and breakfast, then finish packing, then get ready for about 15hrs of travel before I get home tomorrow morning hopefully by 9am.
