Too small is definitely worse. I normally ride the large end of the scale according to the numbers I got from Competitive Cyclists fitting tool.

I don't think a 59 would be off the charts too big for me, just not "must buy now". 

I care more about top tube length, personally.

So I just signed up for the Miami to Key West ride in November.  I need some motivation.  I've been riding in the morning on a computrainer, but  I'm struggling getting out on the real road on the weekends.   

Vicki ... a ride to Sarasota and back would be good training.  Just sayin'

I did a test cabling of my centaur group on the caad8 today. Just need to get a front dérailleur cable and it'll be ready for a test ride.

Sorry, I've been a Campy-phile since the '70s. It hasn't always been the best choice over the years (I feel like the fonze trying to say sorry), but it always has worked for me. Of course I am stuck back in friction mode, but I did like the Ergos on my brother's Bianchi. The shit just doesn't break. Decades.

Here it´s difficult find and test a good Campagnolo group (for example a Chorus)

 

On my team, two guys use Sram Force/Red but with poor results so I prefer use Shimano Ultegra/Dura-Ace at the moment.

 

Probably, the next year in my new bike I will use a Ultegra Di. My team is switching to Shimano Ultegra/Dura- Ace Di and test/ result is very good.

Saturday I took fotos at the Grants Tomb Crit in NYC.

 

Ignoring the fact that it rained for most of the day, it was pretty awesome I'd say. 

There were very few spectators, so I got to stand where ever I wanted, and the overcast sky was a nice change from previous years with harsh direct sunlight coming from the wrong place.
