Investors are excited.  Apple has dropped 2% since the announcements.

I'll be getting the new appletv and the 6S+, and when I'm ready for a new laptop, I'll probably get the ipad pro instead.  This was a product announcement day I approve of.

I was a little surprised that they went with the 12.9 inch screen on the Pro instead of settling on a standard Tice. 

Very intrigued by the iPad Pro. I'll have to see one in person first to get a feel for the new size.

Sad the AppleTV lost the toslink output (especially with greater Apple Music integration). 

Though the presentation wasn't super exciting, its timing hit right for needing a new iPhone, iPad, (both lost to previous job) and after waiting forever for the Apple TV revision. So my wallet is probably getting killed this time. Also looking forward to the watchOS update. 

Apple TV for sure. Beyond that I think I'm good.

Pretty much this.  The Pro seems, well, odd, as it now firmly price competes with what I think are much better actual laptops.  There are times my existing iPad seems too big for the limited use it has (for me anyway) of essentially being a content consumption, time-wasting device.  

I'll stick with my mini 3 as my ipad ipad, but when it comes time to replace my laptop, I'm definitely going ipad pro.

Interesting the mini 3's 16/64/128 storage decreased to 4's 16/32. 

 

Also surprised 3D Touch didn't make it to the iPad Pro.

ipad pro get's my vote!

The limited real estate of the previous versions made doing real work super clunky.

You needed more than one or you have to switch views to access more controls (buttons, interfaces, sliders etc).

I'm not sure if they'll sell very many, but it seems like all their products with the "pro" title are a nod to the professional market.

Reportedly it was demoed with an arm on the screen while using Pencil (and not interfering). Is that what you mean?

When I want a laptop, I want a real laptop. Even with the keyboard I don't see the Pro as a laptop replacement. But that is just me. If it works for you, then cool.

I've already done several trips where I left my laptop at home, and just brought my ipad and a keyboard.  I have pretty high expectations on what people are going to be able to get done on the ipad pro tho.  We'll see how it turns out.

I've been on both sides of that one. Currently, I'd rather have a MBA 11".

For this round, I'll be getting a
