TMoney Posted December 27, 2025 Report Posted December 27, 2025 I feel the same way. Pacing is glacial.

Pars Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 Started watching "The Beast In Me" on Netflix, with Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys. Supposedly uses the production team from "Homeland", which I always like. The series follows an author (Danes) who begins writing a book about her new next-door neighbor (Rhys), a real estate executive who allegedly killed his wife. Two episodes in, and it has captured my attention. 2
Voltron Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 Stranger Things Season Five. Four episodes in and it's getting good. 3 1 1
philodox Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Just caught up on the Might Nein animated show and am now watching Fallout 2

Voltron Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Two more ST episodes to go. It's full of holes (pun intended) and the actors look ridiculously old for teens but the final season is a fun ride. 1

I have been re-watching the original Campaign 1 (on Episode 42). If they kept the spirit and pace of The Legend of Vox Machina, I look forward to the Mighty Nein series. 1
bozebuttons Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Finished watching the Beast in Me on Netflix, I have to tell you a must watch. 3

The animated shows are amazing. Vox Machina was fun (still ongoing, they're about to fight Raishan), but I think I liked the Mighty Nein even better, so we'll done. I've watched the campaigns as well. Haven't started on the 3rd one yet though, just the first 2. Edited January 3 by philodox
jpelg Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 (edited) The Copenhagen Test (Peacock) - A government operative-turned-analyst discovers his eyes & ears have been hacked to transmit what he experiences to an unknown destination. The government agency he works for tries to make his weakness a strength by putting him back in the field. A "Quantum Leap" sort-of feel (to me anyway), and likeable actors make it an easy watch. Bring along a big hunk of your suspension of disbelief & have fun. Edited January 5 by jpelg 2
jpelg Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 (edited) Red Eye (UK) - season 2 brings Detective Sargeant Hana Li (Jing Lusi) back, this time substituting the confines of the US Embassy in London as the locale. Lots of twists & turns, and of course you don't know who is really who. Easy watch, especially if you liked series 1: Edited January 5 by jpelg 2
TMoney Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Death by Lightning Highly entertaining for history nerds (raises hand). I absolutely recommend this. Only four one hour episodes so commitment is low. 4
MexicanDragon Posted Tuesday at 08:08 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 08:08 AM Finished Stranger Things. Now back to my first viewing of The West Wing. About to the end of S1. This will be worth it to grok an Aaron Sorkin joke in 30 Rock. Also, 93% chance I'm about to re-watch 30 Rock another couple times. Oh, also constantly have on Wednesday as background whilst I'm falling asleep as of late. 1
