Oh wait, I just saw this in the ad: "Apple laptop tip not available " Yeah, Apple's mag connector is patented and from what I've read Xpal and others haven't found a way to license it and have been trying for 3+ years. It sucks since I know I'll be traveling over the Christmas holidays this year and one would come in really handy.

October 23, 200916 yr I'm sure the DIY inclined can grab the DC adapters broken off of eBay or otherwise if they really wanted to make an adapter using the proper tip. I seem to remember the DC adapters for the Macbooks failed for many not too unoften.
