I must have enough watches because I'm finally beginning to get pickier. The only thing wrong with that one is how "busy" the face is. I wouldn't know what to do with all that information -- so if you're into that -- or if you want to appear to be into that -- then Dusty approves, otherwise he doesn't.

Yeah, Apple's mag connector is patented and from what I've read Xpal and others haven't found a way to license it and have been trying for 3+ years. It sucks since I know I'll be traveling over the Christmas holidays this year and one would come in really handy.

Is the only current option to buy extra batteries assuming you have a macbook that can still have its battery swapped?

There are a couple of companies that will harvest the magsafe connectors from apple power supplies...

I'm sure the DIY inclined can grab the DC adapters broken off of eBay or otherwise if they really wanted to make an adapter using the proper tip. I seem to remember the DC adapters for the Macbooks failed for many not too unoften.
