September 6, 201213 yr Excellent option for those that prefer an EVF over an OVF. Looks to be the same OLED EVF used in the Sony NEX-7. I really do love the X-Pro1's Hybrid OVF, though. And the Rear LCD is quite the downgrade from the X-Pro 1's excellent LCD. But those cost savings have to come from somewhere. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming XF 14mm f/2.8 lens. But the $900 price is major butthurts.

September 7, 201213 yr The EVF of X-E1 has even higher contrast ratio than the one on NEX 7. According to rumors this new EVF will be on NEX 6 and A99 too.

We shall see what happens. In the mean time, my Lumodi 14" beauty dish just came, which I intend to use as my portable BD on camera bracket or tripod.
