  • Nate owns a Calfee, he is absolutely trustworthy.

  • You know it came off of his toaster right?

  • Yeah, and NOW the toaster burns everything! Proof that after-market cords DO make a difference! (I think he needs to tube roll on his toaster to fix that)

Bought the Simple SE from Nate, and was given way more tubes than I can handle at no cost to me. +10 points for Nate. :)

Another great transaction all around, and well packaged to boot.

I did have the incredible foresight to open the box on the floor, cutting the box open rather than lifting the amp out, and now I'm blessed with about 80 million packing peanuts to aid in floor insulation. I may have to move.

-10 points for aardvark.

-5 points for aardvark for not having speaker cables ready. :palm:

Thanks Nate

One more of several nice deals I've done with Nate, buying/selling/giving/taking. This time, he sold me someone else's Stax SRM-T1W for a nice price, but also threw in some nice upgraded tubes, and a pair of XLR IC's too. Thanks for meeting up with me on short notice.

And BTW, Nate DID get permission to sell it.....:D

Nate traded me an oscilloscope for a CD transport. He went above and beyond packing the heavy scope and was a pleasure to deal with. :prettyprincess:

Nate sold me the best headphone amp that I've owned, the MenaceTC Lite. As usual, the transaction was exemplary. After making the deal, I had some financial issues. Nate offered to take the amp back and refund my money. Instead, I sold my HP2s and kept the MenaceTC Lite. It was a wise decision. Thanks Nate! :)

Bought an Assemblage DAC-2.0 from Nate. The DAC is in mint condition and sounds very good and I got it in less than 3 days from NH to CO. Thanks, Nate...you're alright regardless of what everyone else says.:D

Bought some tubes from Nate which arrived safe and sound. :)

Now the problem is I've got to build something to use those tubes...

Nate hooked me up with lots of excellent items and the package just arrived. I don't think Nate needs any more feedback, but I figured a public "thank you" was the least I could do. Thanks Nate!

Bought a quad of SED "winged c" EL34 tubes from Nate, which showed up packed well enough that I could drop the box off a building and still see them survive. Thanks!
