Still trying to finish off some near empty bottles so I needed a gin drink and went with the Petruchio Cocktail

   1 oz gin (1 1/2 oz Northshore #6)

   1 oz Aperol (1 1/2 oz)

   ½ oz lemon juice (3/4 oz)

   1 dash of simple syrup

   2 dashes Fee’s orange bitters

  1 egg white

Place all ingredients in a tin and frappe.

Add ice and shake until your arms hurt.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Moar beer.

Decided to do a quick comparison Jim. To me, Aperol is much more complex than Campari. I'm really liking it. I had a bit of left over white white from dinner that I mixed it with and is nice. Really loving it

Sauvignon is gone. Williams Selyem Sonoma Coast Pinot.

Initial whiff was that funky bread dough aroma but after an hour it has opened up real nice, no alcohol bite with a nice Pinot fruit layer.

Well it seems the international terminal doesn't serve drinks in fear of the El Al passengers getting rowdy. 3G doesnt work here either.
