Brewed in Namibia by a dude named Jörg Finkeldey. Their American red ale is nasty, but the Helles and Weizen are good.

I went to a tasting yesterday and spent the rest of the evening tracking down places to drink the He'Brew Coney Island Buffalo Trace BBA Human Blockhead Imperial Bock. Both the regular Human Blockhead and the BBA Blockhead are amazingly good beers. I brought a bottle home.

Seems like the right time for an evening prayer to me. Jealous.

Honestly that's what I've been thinking too....it's not bad but at 11 bucks a pop, I can do much better in so many ways I think.

Finished the Kistler Chardonnay and now on to Kristine Ashe's Entre Nous Sauvignon Blanc, awesomely delicious!

Though not cheap, this Sauvignon Blanc is a tremendous value in craftmanship and quality. The winemaker Philippe Melka is the Tyll and Justine of winemaking.

Nice Guy Jim strikes again! I received a surprise package today with a beautiful bottle of Blackwoods Gin inside and immediately made a couple of G&Ts and sat on the porch and toasted to your good health, my friend. Cheers!

Enjoying Houston Restaurant Week(s). Just finished a bottle of Orin Swift "The Prisoner" Red Wine with some friends and a nice 3 course meal. Life is good.

Bonal and Rye

2 oz Wild Turkey 101 Rye

1 oz Bonal

1/2 oz Clement Shrubb Creole Orange Liqueur

2 dashes of Peychaud's bitters

1 dash of Boker's bitters

I think I'm out of vodka. Although I'm pretty sure I have some Highland Park or Green Label left, along with all the necessary parts for make Long Island Iced Tea.
