shellylh Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 Sorry you weren’t feeling well, Steve. I’ve had COVID twice and it really kicked my ass the first time. Glad you are doing better. Quote
blessingx Posted May 24 Report Posted May 24 Had the day off yesterday (company has "wellbeing days" the last couple of years - thanks Covid!), so went to Stanford's Cantor and Anderson museums. Chuckled at this Tony Oursler animated sculpture-projection which seemingly judged you as you judged other works. 4 5 Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted May 30 Report Posted May 30 A day late, but I moved. No longer in MAGA Warren county. Much relief, shoulder and neck tension down, anxiety down, blood pressure down, much relief... 11 Quote
swt61 Posted Sunday at 04:03 AM Report Posted Sunday at 04:03 AM Cut some big pieces of wood into smaller pieces of wood, which will then be made into bigger pieces of wood in the end. Been a while. Felt good 7 Quote
blessingx Posted Sunday at 09:41 PM Report Posted Sunday at 09:41 PM (edited) As others have reported, a bit of a heat wave here yesterday. What better time to stand in the sun and eat funnel cakes at a county fair (elephant ears were sadly out of stock - damn you West Coast)? In a sign of the times, about half the animals on display as normal due to the bird flu. As a stabilizing influence, every band still knowns Tom Petty. if you’re curious about the disadvantages of using an old lens without modern coatings… Edited Monday at 03:40 PM by blessingx 6 Quote
ktm Posted yesterday at 04:31 PM Report Posted yesterday at 04:31 PM Visiting around Paris. Paris, Tennessee that is. It's a great place to see nature. But today's weather is a bust. Great retirement location. 2 Quote
Grahame Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago Took a Boat To The City Saw some controversial art. SF prices? Walked to a tech conference, where the zeitgeist is not just AI, but agentic AI. With phat/sick beats. And the expected A/V kit. Had a tech demo from a CEO, as one does. No need to be alarmed, citizen. Your timer starts now ... The conference ended with a nerd get together ( Code Block Party) Then some San Franciso Street Life And a First Thursday Gathering with one of many Waymos. Then back past the art, In time to catch the Last Ferry back a busy, but enjoyable day 7 Quote
blessingx Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Does the new sculpture look better in person? Quote
