Have a fantastic day! Don't think of it as two away from 30. Think of it as your first Birthday as a home owner. (I had to type home 3 times before not putting a second 'o' where the 'e' goes. Habits ya know.)

I noticed there's a display at the bottom of the home page, showing "Users Online." I'm all alone here right now. It's kind of scary. I'm scared. Plus the fact that I can't tell the smilie icons apart... I'll just click on one at random... -> \

In the few years I have been at this forum, I have learned how to solder and stuff, and in the process met some great acquaintances. Wish you all the best.

The ex and I had to have the last of our greyhounds put to sleep today. Gypsy was a mischievious girl who always grabbed your heart and made you smile. A little brindle girl, she was always my favorite. In recent times kidney disease took over and in the end she stopped eating and was slowly wasting away. So today we ended her pain. My great comfort is that, due to staying here helping my ex convalesce from her accident, I got to spend the last two weeks with Gypsy. Several times during those days there was a glimpse of that mischief in her eyes that made me so happy. If ya got a dog around the house give 'em a ear scritch for me. It's awful empty in this house to…

So, this happened on a different headphone forum to go unamed... I've been looking pretty hard for an RS1 for a while..And I see one pop up so I immediately shoot the guy a PM saying I definately want them. Explain how hard I've been looking for them and so on. So, he replies with his Paypal address. I shoot him one back saying I'm waiting on a refund to come back into my account and if he would mind waiting for me to send the payment until tomorrow. (This whole time I'm talking to a friend of mine from the same site over AIM..he's been trying to help me find an RS1 also.) So the friend I'm talking to says he'll lend me the money to just pay in full tonight, so the sel…

Well, if you haven't it sucks. I spent the last day and half in a hospital due to a severe case of it. I got discharged today and it is a whole lot better but not 100% yet. At least the scans of my brain showed nothing unusual, so they think it's just something viral.

Am I the only one who can't resist buying a book every time I go into a bookstore? I am almost compelled to buy a book whenever I walk into a bookstore, or else I feel like something is not complete. And sometimes I would buy books which I already have, but simply because I have an urge to read it but don't have it with me at my current location, and not to mention various different translations of the same work. Make no mistake, I read all the books that I buy, but because of this compulsion, I've built up a huge library, scattered in my college apartment and my parents' house. And I'm one of those people who doesn't have the heart to get rid of books, so every t…

Our dryer is slowly dying. Anyone get a gas dryer that they really like or know models to avoid? I don't need any fancy smartphone technology shit, just one that works, doesn't break for a long time (or ever, yeah right), and get really really hot*. Unfortunately, they don't seem to publish dryer temperatures. I also don't want something with a steam feature. I would prefer to have a dryer with a detachable rack for drying sweaters, shoes, etc but that is not a necessity. Right now I am just looking at the top rated dryer at Best Buy. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olstemplatemapper.jsp?_dyncharset=UTF-8&_dynSessConf=3604863170801698822&id=…
