That is awesome Todd. That is the real strength of the USA. So let me summarize the last week. Monday evening we flew down to Daytona. Tuesday, Karen signed her letter of intent and delivered her transcripts to ERAU HR. we then looked at a few rental properties. In the afternoon we met with the counselor for Peters middle school and got the paperwork started. In the evening the director of coaching for the Port Orange youth soccer team ran a special practice to evaluate Peter (The regular practice was Wednesday but looked like it was going to be rained out). Wednesday we got a cashiers check (harder than it appears when you are not local) and put a deposit down on the rental property we wanted (the rental agency was located in Alamonte Springs, halfway between Daytona and Orlando). We got back back and went to the real practice for the Port Orange soccer team. Peter will be playing for their U13 SuperY team, which is fricking awesome. Thursday, we hung out on the beach, chilled and then flew back to Charlston. On Friday, we received an offer on our house which we accepted. So if everything goes quickly we are out of Charleston by June 20th. Oh, Friday through Sunday we were dealing with his home clubs soccer tournament. Fuck me. I am tired just writing this.7 points

Texas style brisket from Smokey's Bones -- damn, that was nasty, very fatty, which tells me ... I don't know what that tells me, but it was nasty.3 points

Or you could just start stating your age in hex...0x29? Although you don't look a day over 0x27.2 points

So the way it was explained to me was that once you reached 39 years of age birthdays did not increase in magnitude. So in mathematical terms, 39 is an asymptote.2 points

Fuck. Isao's Snowflakes was my introduction to his music back in the day. Sad times. I am happy that did get to see him once.1 point

When using RCA's you only use two of the four decks on the pot. The output of those is taken to the + input of the respective channel while the - input of the each channel is connected directly to the ground tab next to it. Those diodes have to go and the board is clearly marked for the insulated units. The person who built this board doesn't have a clue what they are doing as the tabs of the transistors is indeed live. Wrong heatsinks for the bias supply and I guess the other current sources as well. Inadequate isolation as well since the tab of these sits at a very high voltage.1 point

When I had the Ether Open here, I thought it was a really good headphones but I just enjoyed my HD800 better out of my ECP DSHA-0. I agree with your price point however that it should be closer to $1200 than $1500.00.1 point

No .......... the 8 large ones, high voltage, in groups of four with shiny metal on top in the front middle of your power supply. that tab is HOT... look at these: STTH512FP Use half your volume pot, tie the minus inputs to ground at connectors on amp boards and drive the plus from volume pot, twisted pair or shelded cable from each section of pot to each board....easy!1 point

Sounds like things are going pretty smoothly. Congrat to Peter, as well as Karen! Hang in there, it'll slow down around July.1 point

I have used parallels for 5 years now with absolutely no problems. Their newest version is seemless for those of us who would rather use our computers to do work rather than dick around with getting them to perform some esoteric calculation in the most efficient way.1 point

Softness was my first impression listening to the HE-1000 from the GS-X Mk2 right after SR-007 from the BHSE. HE-1000 just sounded overly smooth and polite.1 point
