Received a phone call from Mark ( the Guy that did the repair ) saying my 009's have been fitted with a new cable and should be with me tomorrow. Now I don't know what the cost is because when I asked to pay he said an invoice will be in with the 009's. When I asked why he didn't want payment straight away, he said before making it he'd prefer I try my 009's out for a week to make sure I'm happy, then if happy make the repair cost. Very trustworthy policy, IMO.

Peter has been home sick from school the past three days, so have rewatched most of the episodes from the first two seasons of Daredevil. I loved the first season more on the first take but like the second season a lot more after having watched it again.

RIP Gene. A simple memory, but when I was 8 or 9 my sister and I put on Willy Wonka while helping my dad unload Christmas decorations from the shed. It was pretty early to do so, before Thanksgiving even, but still cold and dreary outside. So every time I brought a load into the house, I sat down for 5 minutes to check in on the movie... and I remember feeling so utterly comfortable, warm, and safe. And I think about that every time I've seen that movie since. So thanks to Gene for playing a part in that. Also Blazing Saddles is the funniest film I have ever seen. Another favorite in my family.

One of my all time favorite funny films! Every time I watch it, I get a new fav scene (and I just noticed the smiley face button in the poster). Cloris Leachman confessing ",.. he was my boyfriend!" or the fact that Gene Hackman didn't want to be billed as the blindman. First time I saw it was on a date. I don't even remember who the gal was!
